Guitar tone is very important I've realized, and this one still haunts me. Regardless of presentation the music itself blows unbelievable-sized chunks of lame.
This is Gorgoroth's worst album IMO. They do a lot of experimenting on this album. They mix electronic and some weird noises into this album. Some stuff sounds like the post-Nattens Madrigal era of Ulver with Black Metal shrieks courtesy of Gaahl. The production is good. I dont really like it that much, but if you're a huge Black Metalhead like me, then you should probably check it out. You never know, you might really like it, that just wasnt the case with me. A couple of songs i did like though are Incipit Satan, An Excerpt Of X, and When Love Rages Wild In My Heart.
