This ep and even her new album Warrior were both focused on showcasing her actual voice while keeping studio enhancements to a minimum. The Deconstructed ep kept her voice front and center throughout the 5 tracks all of which were recorded over somewhat atmospheric/moody musical arrangements. This newer version of the power-ballad "The Harold Song" that originally first appeared on the ep Cannibal is definitely a highlight.
