Amazing discovery. I really feel the atmosphere and the guitar melodies and riffs add a lot to it.
Atmosphere wise the album feels different from other doom metal albums.
It has a mystic and futuristic touch that brings me to the positive and
progressive sleepmakeswaves planet.
Also all 8 songs are very nicely structured with interesting twists thrown in.

An example of the perfect doom record for the modern age. Daylight Dies expertly blends despair, sorrow, and heaviness in a concise package that stands to be a shining example of how good music from the genre can be.

Very similar in spirit to BMD by Katatonia. The lyrical content along with the melo/death is very prevalent in the music, though it leans a bit toward progressive. The songs are varied lengths and they don't bore you. Very good listen- highly recommended.

This album is very much in the same vein as Brave Murder Day by Katatonia. It's very melodic and catchy, the vocals are great and are both harsh and clean. If your looking for some good doom metal that won't bore give this a spin! Check out their video for Lies That Bind:
