We Come Running might be fantastic, but the rest of the EP is more or less the same average (read: forgettable) indie pop/sorta rock that constitutes the filler of every other album with a hit riding the KROQ airwaves.
With all the breakthrough artists coming out, this is a genuinely good time. The beats are energetic and never feel alienating. I can't say it's genuine unlike most of the new bands, but I can say it's very fun.
