IF i could give this album a six out of five, I would. I LOVE THIS ALBUM more than anything BOC have ever recorded. Side A (Black) is superb - four absolutely storming hard rock tracks - The Red and The Black, Od'd On Life Itself, Hot Rails To Hell and the wonderful Seven Screaming Dizbusters. Side 2 (Red) is just as wonderful but only ever slightly less wonderful. Baby Ice Dog (an early Patti Smith lyrics), Wings Wetted Down, Teen Archer ("ballin' all night, ballin' all day but she won't ball with me") and best of all Mistress of The Salmon Salt (Quicklime Girl). Why don't more people know this and love. I bought this in the 70s as a kid, in my music formative years and never looked back. BOC on tour forever.rNo 2 in three perfect albums.
