far from the strongest doom of the year, arguably too simplistic and repetitive but for an easy to digest funeral doom album you can't do that much better for when the more challenging bands like evoken and esoteric don't seem to suit your mood [:
Very tasty symphonic funeral doom but the tag of symphonic is not cheese or lameness. Here we have well fitting-depressive doom with synths that create an atmosphere of sounds that fit the depressing themes perfectly. The vocals are deep and hazzy, yet powerful and the production here is perfect. You need to here this now. This one man group's release proves to be one of the strongest doom albums of 2012.
