Unfortunately, Clarity is a soulless husk of an album, and nothing interesting happens throughout the record for the most part. Electronic music producer Zedd revs up the engine only for it to get spectacularly destroyed. Almost all the songs bleed into one another, making Clarity's 45-minute duration feel longer than it really should. Ubiquitous as it is (at least in my opinion), the title track featuring Foxes manages to be one of the better cuts here alongside "Fall Into the Sky" and "Epos". In conclusion, Zedd's first studio affair is like a skyscraper that just wasn't constructed properly.

Big, loud, summer-y, and coming from 2012: Clarity is the epitome of this sound. The singles ("Spectrum", "Clarity") are non-offensive, kinda cool electro summer bangers, but they are overshadowed by offensive, non cool bangers that are devoid of any idea besides: "let it rise, then let it go crazay".

Spectrum is vaguely catchy in the mellow kind of way the first time you hear it before it becomes boring. You can scrap the rest.

Good enough. The singles are the best tracks, but at least it's consistent. Zedd's clearly got at least some musical leanings, unlike contemporaries Krewella and Skrillex.

A lot of trance-y productions on this album compared to his harder hits of recent, such as "Scorpion Move". "Spectrum" and "Fall Into the Sky" are my favorites!
