These tracks very much embody a tortured silence and textural level of detail capable of crafting imagery of the same colour and scope that the music or the ballet would suggest. Whether the imperfect clanks of 'Reverse Erased' or the beautiful swooning of 'Erased Duet', I loved the subtly and triumph of the production and sound. As far as Valgeir Sigurosson records go, in my opinion it's my least favourite but not only is it a beautiful soundtrack to the ballet it was written for; it's an excellent album in its own right.
