I enjoy the general sound of the album, though I can't get past the lyrics. They're very odd and seem to have little correlation to each other, even in the same song. I don't much care for the female vocalist, though I do enjoy Dadone's vocals and the general feel of the record. Solid though, nonetheless.
The indie pop vibes that were present in their debut album are almost completely erased, but haven't lost their charm as they twang here and there with some of the most atmospheric tunes to be released on Earth. It feels as though the whole crew at FW took a vacation in outer space, then came back to a country home. It's an odd coupling that works to the band's advantage. r
