It's awesome how well this band can transition between the couple different vocal styles they use on this album. Everything flows so well and it's such an energetic listen. Most likely will up the rating after a few more listens but damn does this album hit you hard.
Never heard this band before this. At first I was skeptical about the vocal style. What
really made me listen to this again was the instrumentals. The guitars are awesome. Catchy
fluid riffs. The music combines an honest technicality with those generic fast punk beats.
It works. And then I realized that this unique vocal style fits perfect with the unique
sound of the instruments. Its true that most of the songs resemble eachother but I found
that each songs has its own distinct feel created by the riffs that the guitarist rip out.
This band has a very original style, and although the vocals may not appeal to everyone,
hopefully people will look past them and see these musicians for what they are: talented.
Best Songs:Two Year Plan, Keyhole M.O., You Are The Greatest Threat(The Doctor Will Serve
A lot of the tracks on this seem to run together for me, I get bored about 4 tracks in and just can't enjoy the album. You Are The Greatest Threat (The Doctor Will Serve You Now) & Storyteller are easily the best offerings on this though.
Admittedly, this isn't my genre of choice, but multiple listens haven't made this any more enjoyable. Most of these songs would pop in a live setting, but it's difficult to listen to without the band's exuberant stage presence.
