Echo Base is pretty much the standard twinkly emo-influenced indie punk such as You Blew It!, Sport, and Duck! Little Brother, Duck! with somewhat more grating vocals that make it less enjoyable. The instruments are very often enjoyable, regardless of being relatively standard, however the songs tend to drag.
