Released as a preview of sorts for The Rocket Summer's upcoming 3rd LP, the 'iTunes EP' is an exciting look into the maturing of a potential superstar. It may only be 4 tracks & 18 minutes in length, but the 1st 3 tunes here are as upbeat & addictive as anything that Bryce Avary has put out to date, while pushing his vocals into a more soulful direction adds an even greater pop sensibility. He tops it off with a fascinating choice to cover the Colin Hay (Men At Work) ballad 'I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You'. Wow, talk about a taster to make any power-pop fan salivate!
