1) Back in the 80s, Europe was on of the biggest names in the world of galm rock and metal scene, who doesn't know the final countdown or carrie??? The band then split for a while and decided to regroup once again. After they decided to bring the band back from death, they decided to do something new, it was a new era for the band so why not change into a new sound??r2) This album here, bag of bones is an example of this new direction, a mixed bag of rock and bluesy influenced songs. The album is fun to listen to and it feels more mature compared to their work to the 80s, if you listened to last look to Eden then don't expect something ground breaking or new here, it has the same formula that the band used in the last look album. r3) When you listen the album you'll get the feeling that the band here is influenced by a lot of old school bands like led zeppelin and deep purple. Give this album a try you'll have fun listening to it.
This album doesn't bring anything new on the table. After "Start From The Dark", "Secret Society" and " Last Look At Eden" BOB is quite an average outting. The musicianship is good, John Norum tears his guitar off but I'm afraid the songs are very simple.
