  • CalculatingInfinity http://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=212538 I'm buying this one day, somehow.
    January 29 05:12 PM
  • EvoHavok For sure, that person really put effort in all those encodings. I waited for my DSS Budokan rating to be a special number :).
    January 14 10:10 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Also I call dibs on that limited edition remastered Uroboros ;)
    January 13 12:19 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity Lovely DSS at Budokan rating, superb show.
    January 13 12:18 PM
  • EvoHavok No problem. I still suggest looking on the download site I linked, too. So many goodies there.
    January 13 07:52 AM
  • EvoHavok If you don't want to download DSS at Nippon Budokan (although the 720p rip from the site is quite the looker), you can find the concerts on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ELCDk8Y4Jg (part 1)
    January 11 03:43 PM
  • EvoHavok I think sput messed up the whole message. You can find Tour14 on Japan-discoveries. DSS at Budokan and In Situ-Tabula Rasa are at CdJapan and Japan-discoveries. This site has rips for a lot of stuff: https://theninjapanda.wordpress.com/downloads/live-dvds/
    January 11 03:37 PM
  • EvoHavok You can buy the fanclub only Tour14 here: http://japan-discoveries.com/index.php?main_page=product_music_info
    January 11 03:33 PM
  • EvoHavok Btw, I added some Diru live albums from the last few years. Give a rating if you've watched them or check them out if you haven't :D.
    January 9 06:26 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity I just brought Tour 13 Ghoul limited edition Blu Ray...for only 34 new. Got to love new year clearences ;)
    January 4 07:26 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity It's basically impossible to buy, it's a fanclub only show that'll cost you 200 to get on Blu Ray now. Here's a 1080rip of the full live (Disc 1: https://mega.nz/#F!utV2TLDb!Jg2WpPjC5TeDKtyVjyzM8A)
    January 4 06:16 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Hey man, have you watched this? Without a doubt, the best live I've seen by them: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=211991
    January 3 09:12 AM
  • trackbytrackreviews I think We Lost the Sea is better, have you listened to it? In any case, I don't have enough albums for the Users top 10
    December 17 03:04 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews Hmm, let's see, BMTH That's the Spirit, Alesana's Confessions, We Lost the Sea' Departure Songs, Kendrick's To Pimp a Butterfly and No Devotion's Permanence
    December 17 04:27 AM
  • trackbytrackreviews This is the problem, I have no idea what to pick, at most I only listened to 4-5 new albums this year
    December 16 10:57 AM
  • trackbytrackreviews What's your top album of 2015?
    December 14 11:58 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity Unfortunately I have to wait until I get all the limited editions I want until I buy it, and I'd get the limited Blu Ray of that too lol. The DSS one is on YT, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlKNiIhLAH0
    December 13 07:22 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Aye it's why I asked, I watched the DDS live doc and it was pretty boring. No narriative or new info or subs, mainly just them playing. I can't find it online, so I'll have to buy the DVD at a later date.
    December 13 07:15 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Also is the sub online or on the DVD?
    December 13 07:01 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Thanks very much, I'll keep that in mind. I'd like to watch a doc because the live shows kinda depress me, they shouldn't tour so much and basically murder Kyo's throat to oblivion.
    December 13 06:55 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Hey man, got a question. Is any of the Diru documentries worth watching and are there any dubs anywhere?
    December 13 06:43 AM
  • Tunaboy45 With all the troubles he's had recently it wouldn't surprise me.
    December 4 11:18 AM
  • Tunaboy45 Can't believe Scott is dead, he hadn't been looking too good lately though so maybe he was using again.
    December 4 06:00 AM
  • Tunaboy45 Checked out START, really enjoyed it actually.
    December 3 03:08 PM
  • Tunaboy45 If I can see Rammstein, Tool and Radiohead I can die a happy man. It seems like they're not as committed as they used to be but one more world tour would be perfect.
    December 2 04:46 AM
  • Tunaboy45 With Rammstein playing download next year and working on a new album, do you think they'll do a full tour of the UK?
    December 1 05:53 PM
  • Toondude10 of course, I wouldn't ask if I didn't :P
    November 18 10:06 AM
  • Toondude10 where'd you go?
    November 16 06:44 PM
    July 22 04:15 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews BUT IT'S NOT GOING TO BE TRACKBYTRACK

    June 23 01:33 PM
  • Tunaboy45 And no sense of humour either
    June 23 05:36 AM
  • Tunaboy45 http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/06/album-review-lindemann-skills-in-pills/ marvelous
    June 22 07:11 PM
  • Angelboros I'd like to either see you or Tunaboy tackle the album, if I'm being honest here, though it really doesn't matter too much. Maybe if someone else were to review it, then they probably wouldn't be able to take the record at face value. By the way, Rammstein's Pussy is still glorious.
    June 18 02:09 PM
  • Angelboros Hey, Gonz, are you planning on reviewing the new Lindemann album? I'm just wondering, is all.
    June 18 01:18 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews Yeah really the only electronic track I have on my iPhone is Strobe
    May 21 12:53 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews I think I might lower them...electronic music has never been my thing really, and I think I rated them so high only to match with the averages...
    May 21 01:25 AM
  • trackbytrackreviews THE POSION WAS GR8

    April 20 04:41 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews Haha which song did you listen to?
    April 20 12:18 PM
  • trackbytrackreviews scenecore haha, I was joking. They were the band that introduced me to screaming, so much nostalgia, but they're not exactly good

  • Frippertronics shieeeeeet, sounds ace
    February 4 02:16 AM
  • Tunaboy45 It just directed you to a website, they don't even do that on The Pale Emperor. You'd think that in a 'deluxe edition' you would get a booklet. When I first saw the packaging I thought the front was a sticker so I was looking for where you could peel it off haha.
    January 20 04:08 PM
  • Frippertronics there doesn't appear to be a version with the gatefold, but it's no big deal.
    January 20 04:07 PM
  • Frippertronics I just got The Pale Emperor on vinyl, and the packaging is nice. I would've preferred a gatefold, but it was only $17, so I'll take what I can get. The cover looks great, and the vinyl is nice and sturdy. Well worth the money.
    January 20 03:52 PM
  • Tunaboy45 I agree actually, the tracklist is quite difficult to see on the back and that sexy artwork is obscured. Also has the same problem as Born Villain, no booklet. Packaging aside though, the music is awesome.
    January 20 12:41 PM
  • Tunaboy45 Nope that must have been somebody else, I don't own a deck (yet). I got the deluxe edition
    January 20 12:31 PM
  • Tunaboy45 Been listening to The Pale Emperor, love it!
    January 20 11:35 AM
  • DoctorDoom How so? I was planning in shelling out the money for the vinyl.
    January 20 09:06 AM
  • DoctorDoom Shocked by how much I love it, I am somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4.0 on it.
    January 19 11:45 PM
  • DoctorDoom Really dig your Manson reviews, sir. Plus it's always good to speak with a fellow doctor.
    January 18 12:47 PM
  • titanslayer Yeah I completely agree
    January 15 10:01 AM
  • titanslayer You'll have to let me know what you think. It's not as good as it sounds but it's definitely worth a listen
    January 14 03:05 PM
  • titanslayer You might want to check out beyond the fallen, they sound a lot like psyclon nine with mansonesque vocals
    January 13 04:47 PM

  • Artuma those burzum ratings wow
    September 17 03:05 AM
  • Hawks Yeah clean production just doesn't work on a lot of bm albums, it's part of the appeal.
    September 3 03:49 PM
  • Hawks There's a lot of great bm out there dude. Once you get used to the sound and some of the production you'll be good to go.
    September 3 03:44 PM
  • Hawks They're all pretty popular within the genre. Start with Bergtatt or Storm of the Light's Bane then move on to the others.
    September 3 03:39 PM
  • Hawks Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse, Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace, Ulver - Bergtatt, and Dissection - Storm of the Lights Bane are my top 5 bm albums in that order. m/

  • OmairSh Yeee, TPE is more varied while Remedy Lane is a little softer imo. "Be" is also a brillaint album (you'll enjoy it because it's so far removed from typical prog metal, in fact it's much more folky than metal at all). Great band
    July 16 12:28 PM
  • OmairSh Check The Perfect Element and Remedy Lane
    July 16 12:06 PM

  • Emyay Same. Wish I had the time as well. Actually just finally finished ff9 for the first time. Disappointing compared to 8 to say the least.
    June 19 12:01 PM
  • Emyay just checked your ratings and i'm lovin that 5 for ff8 soundtrack. one of my favorite games of all time and probably my favorite game soundtrack
    June 19 11:36 AM
  • osmark86 yeah man, check out The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. it follows fellow author Ken Kesey (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) around during the 60s when he and a bunch of oddballs consisting of hippies and beatnicks ventured around the US and Mexico in a bus called Furthur whilst experimenting with LSD. He also wrote Bonfire of Vanities which is considered a classic, but I haven't read that one yet.
    January 22 05:01 AM
  • osmark86 sweet, will keep that in mind! you read any Tom Wolfe? think you'd dig since you seem into that style of journalism/writing.

    January 19 04:49 PM
  • Jaygoodall Absolutely aware although 2002 was when they recorded their first full length, I'm not going to write about an EP and a few demos in a review for an album that was released two decades after the formation of a band which did nothing major untiil 2002.
