  • CaptainDooRight Oh yeah that album is excellent! I'm doing great. Doing some real life music collaborations atm while still doing my solo work. I'm performing a live show next Saturday. First show I've done in several years. Nervous and excited. I hope all is well with you. Nice profile pic

  • UniqueUniverse So I've heard you new album and...well, let's just say that you'll like my feedback approximately as much as I like your album...
    April 6 04:31 AM
  • bgillesp No problem. And I wish you the best of luck too! I just felt like it deserved an honest opinion that you can take however you like. I know several other users have given your music higher ratings so don't let mine discourage you. Also, you have killer album art.

  • Jasdevi087 ooh, nice album art. Songs look like a digestible length too. I'll have to find time sometime, uni's making listening to music a bit of a bitch
    April 1 10:07 PM
  • Animadversion it's a pleasant coincidence that i listened to your last album just after listening for the thousandth time to maudlin of the well's bath. i can definitly spot the infuence! at first, i didn't really like the first track... so i was a bit afraid for the rest, as that kind of "metal" isn't usually my thing... but i actually enjoyed most of the album! i especially loved "librarian" and "sangheili chant", and the overall guitar work, and the closer track also. perfect closer!
    March 19 01:28 PM
  • Jasdevi087 been so long since i've listened to Turbulence
    March 18 10:38 PM
  • Animadversion thanks!! gonna listen asap! is see that all the songs are pretty short... is that you going pop??
    March 15 02:46 PM
  • bnelso55 Thanks! Actually jammed it when the news article posted. Good work! My first impressions were all positive. I just need to listen to it some more to let it sink in. I always appreciate the challenge of leaving my comfort zone that comes with absorbing your music.
    March 15 02:07 PM
  • CaptainDooRight There were many moments that clicked with me. Some moments felt perfect.
    March 13 09:18 PM

  • CaptainDooRight Sorry I meant to say GarageBand the whole time lol. I got my words mixed up hahaha. That's exactly what I meant
    February 25 03:38 PM
  • CaptainDooRight The instruments sound like band camp instrument
    February 25 04:02 AM
  • CaptainDooRight sweet artwork, i can tell the music was made on the bandcamp as im very familiar with its tones, the music sounds chill
    February 22 10:57 AM

  • AdolfChrist A 5 for Driving My Fist Through Her Chest? Im just as baffled as you are.
    February 15 05:31 PM
  • TVC15 That King Green album is... a challenging listen and I mean that in a good way. I think it will grow on me with more listens but for a song that's 30 plus minutes it's really cool that it doesn't once lose any steam
    February 11 03:20 PM
  • Animadversion after 1st listen of your last album, im not quite sure what to make of it yet tbh. i enjoyed most of it but with a song of that length, it's often hard to digest, so i need other listens. one thing tho: i think it's a choice of yours, but the fact that the drums are really loud compared to the other instruments (even tho i love the drums) disconcerts me. it still kept me interested throughout so it's pretty good. n i particularly liked the ambient feel around 30min!
    February 7 05:01 AM
  • CaptainDooRight i didnt get a chance to jam it in full but from the 80% I listened to it sounded pretty good, i liked the psych and zoney vibes and drums were pretty enjoyable :]
    February 6 02:17 PM
  • Animadversion thanks for the link, gonna listen to this! btw if you haven't listened to in:sanity by the 360 degree music experience, you should do it. im sure you'll love it!
    February 6 06:07 AM
  • modpack nice to see you getting into intestinal disgorge tbh
    February 5 11:53 PM
  • TVC15 Thanks a ton for the link, I'll listen to it when I'm less preoccupied by school :]
    February 5 10:01 PM
  • Jasdevi087 I wasn't quite as satisfied with it as I hoped I would be overall, but I do love the parts where they got it right. The main reason I wanted to hear it is because I'm so impressed with how dark Peter Steele's voice was and how impressively he projected in the bass register
    February 2 01:09 AM
  • SynapticPlasticity your username is amazing, that is alldid you also consider ScaleTheLeaders?

    January 4 02:44 AM
  • CaptainDooRight The first track taking the veil is the best track on it. The rest are kinda ambient and diff
    January 4 02:41 AM
  • CaptainDooRight Dude the David Sylvian - Gone to earth album is legit. Jam it hard bruh
    January 4 02:37 AM
  • CaptainDooRight Yeah man sounds good. Don't lose those vox skilled. I've typically never really good into music that supports that vox style but you've managed to make it completely palatable. Your focus on atmosphere over trying to just sound 'hard' has paid off!
    January 4 02:10 AM
  • CaptainDooRight oh cool, i didn't know u were skilled in the vox like that bra, nice work!!
    January 3 11:15 AM
  • bnelso55 Cool! I'll check it out! Thank you for keeping me in the loop.
    January 3 10:59 AM
  • CaptainDooRight What instruments or vox did you do on the new album?
    January 3 09:38 AM
  • CaptainDooRight Bro I'm on the third track and I gotta say those first two tracks really gel'd with me. Really hit my emotions and made me really zone into it. Super good. The drummer is really good and I like how everyone feeds off each other. Jam sessions were my fav thing back in the days with friends and I feel you really capture that esssense I enjoy but you provide more enjoyable aspects on top of it
    January 1 10:50 PM
  • Jasdevi087 I swear my first album of every year is always one of yours lol
    January 1 10:00 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Dude that sounds really interesting! I love you are comfortable with pushing music boundaries further. I'm looking forward to hearing it. I have some experimental music I'm working on too under Seed of Nothing but it may be a while.
    December 24 09:19 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Awesome I'm glad you had a chance to check it out and I'm glad you like it. I love that album; one of my favs. Have you been working on some new music?
    December 24 12:26 AM
  • CaptainDooRight Thanks bro and I yours. I think you may like that album because it's pretty unique and satisfying at least to me.
    December 22 01:15 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Have you heard Jacaszek - Treny?

    December 20 01:30 AM
  • bnelso55 You're welcome! The best King Green stuff stokes my imagination, so putting a review together is pretty fun because I get to convey a little of the imagery I get while listening to the music.
    December 6 09:30 AM
  • RosaParks yeah actually
    December 6 05:33 AM
  • RosaParks new gambino isn't hip hop my friend. u seem confused in ur sound off. js
    December 4 10:50 PM
  • TheSpaceMan thats my favorite aspect about them, and partly why i think strange times is my favorite of theirs
    December 2 09:41 PM
  • bnelso55 Excellent. That definitely helps me. Thank you. I jammed the record a few times today and I already have some ideas. I'll listen a little more and pull something together next week.
    December 2 07:39 PM
  • bnelso55 Sure, man! Thank you for asking. I'll get to work. It just might take me a little time. I'll try to have it ready by next week. Is there anything in particular you'd like to emphasize about this record? Anything that you feel makes it stand out in your discography? Did you take any new compositional approaches?
    December 2 03:50 PM
  • TheSpaceMan thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU for liking the chameleons (:
    December 2 12:03 AM
  • CaptainDooRight :::)))
    November 28 11:41 AM
  • CaptainDooRight Oh and hey I remember you said the drums on my album didn't really gel with you. I should have explained it in the description. The drums were purposefully made that way. It was inspired from paysage. I wanted to make them damp, dissonant. Serving as atmosphere so as not to try detract from the atmosphere rather to support it. Whether I succeeded or not I don't know but at the time I completed everything came out exactly how I wanted it. Don't think I'll do it again as I'm writing a differentone
    November 27 01:37 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Jacaszek - Treny - since you like avant garde you might like this album. I dig it hard.
    November 27 03:58 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I also checked two songs from the Hirasawa Sim City, I can see what you mean about the atmosphere. I'll try and pick up a copy from somewhere, I like tracking down the more unusual albums I like
    November 22 10:21 AM
  • DoofusWainwright The original had one song on it that was removed for the revised version (guess it was too uptempo, only listened to it a few times) and the new version adds two songs (Yonderhead and For Now, which are excellent). The new one might have had other parts added to individual songs I'm not sure, but I'd say try the revised version first.
    November 22 10:16 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Not sure if you've checked it already but the Thomas Feiner 'opiates revised' album is a must for a Sylvian fan
    November 21 02:01 PM
  • ScuroFantasma Thanks man, I've been jamming it for months and just can't decide what to give it. Such a unique album.
    November 20 11:53 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Hey bro I wish I could help you there but I decided years ago to stop writing reviews. It's just not my thing and I don't really enjoy it anymore. I'm sorry. But good news I just uploaded my new album and it's available.
    November 18 06:30 PM
  • Vorpax What about Razzle Dazzle?
    November 18 01:40 PM
  • Vorpax Another one that thinks that Darker Than Darkness is 5 tier material! YAY
    November 17 12:17 PM
  • mindleviticus Awesome. Feel free to check out the others! They're all generally within the same kind of sound. The production may vary.
    November 12 10:47 PM
  • mindleviticus Our Naivety has a review you can check out and it's a pretty short album only around 20ish minutes excluding the bonus track
    November 12 10:01 PM
  • mindleviticus Really appreciate the sound off Dude! Gave your albums a few ratings. Going to write a few soundoffs soon
    November 12 09:59 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Cool thanks bro, great wording in the article. I do appreciate it. And I really like how we as a community support each other. That's really what it's all about.

    November 11 05:12 PM
  • mindleviticus Man your king green stuff is awesome. Really enjoyed Finite Encephalic Sequence. I make electronic music under The Hyacinth Act and got a new album coming out tonight so check the lists if you're interested.
    November 11 04:33 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Also, if you don't mind. Once I post my list perhaps you can write up a news article for me but please wait on it until I give you further information if you're willing. thanks bro!
    November 11 03:55 PM
  • CaptainDooRight they were moved to 'Seed of Nothing' which is my side project. I'm going to be sending out a list soon explaining everything. Basically Trvth will be strictly my BM project and Seed of Nothing will be for all side/experimental other projects ect. I found it to be confusing having so many genres under one name so I split everything up my friend. Also good news a new album is under way. All the songs are done. 10 tracks. I just need to finish vocals one 1 track and finishing mixing.
    November 11 03:54 PM
  • SmileNerd yea it was really great dude. keep makin stuff
    November 11 12:30 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Thanks man and that's the cool thing about music since you can inject your experiences into and try to recreate moments
    November 5 10:57 PM
  • bnelso55 Loving the rhythmic drive on the new record, man. In my opinion, Central Control is one of your strongest openers. Really digging it.
    November 2 09:10 AM
  • SmileNerd For sure man! Will check out while doin some homework. Just kind of returned to Sputnik recently and I'm kind of rerating everything and stuff
    November 1 08:01 PM

  • Jasdevi087 hahaha I saw you in the comment section on the new Vic Berger video :p
    October 27 12:19 AM
  • CaptainDooRight You are pretty prolific with your music. Ep was pretty chill, chill vibes
    October 23 12:31 PM
  • Jasdevi087 ayy that's cool. Yeah I really enjoy that album, reminds me of dark purples and livid blues instead of your usual bright psychedelic hues
    October 9 04:52 AM
  • CaptainDooRight bro im loving the ambient work! easily my favorite from you while being the most palatable as wwell
    October 3 06:36 PM
  • spookynewghostfriend great taste =]
    September 20 12:03 AM
  • Jasdevi087 ikr? the dynamic is so different to their earlier stuff and it's unbelievable the difference the production makes. It somehow manages to be prettier than Eden.
    September 3 12:33 AM
  • bnelso55 Wow, "..Darkfire Illusion" has a pretty grim atmosphere, man! It made for a pretty intense listen. I'll need to revisit it a time or two to let it sink in, but it may be my new favorite from Millicent Waffles.
    August 31 09:47 AM
  • bnelso55 Nice. I think I missed this one. I'll give it a listen after I jam the new EP one more time. Keep up the good work!

  • Lowder91bird Sorry it's been so long. I haven't been on Sputnik since I have been back in the states until now. I have listened to the album in the link you sent me. I really like it. The album art is great too. I also noticed that you have a new Count to Altek album out. I will be checking that one out soon.

    August 2 04:58 AM
  • ScuroFantasma Oh wow, that sounds interesting, I'll give that a look too.
    July 21 08:55 PM
  • ScuroFantasma Oh awesome, I'll jam it asap. Thanks for letting me know. So, anything cool you've been digging lately?
    July 21 06:46 PM
  • Frippertronics well someone wrote a bomb ass 5 review for Blemish, so I figure how about you take Gone to Earth and I'll handle Brilliant Trees?
    July 15 04:12 AM
  • Frippertronics considering you have GTE as a 5, that'd be cool to see. The ambient half of that is still growing on me. I do intend on getting through his discography, aside from the two art installation recordings, which I should probably relegate to the compilations or something as they're really not part of his main catalogue.
    July 14 01:15 AM
  • Frippertronics dude idk bout you, but I think I gotta rep Sylvian's discog. Late Night Shopping is so ****ing goood
    July 13 08:16 PM
  • MrSirLordGentleman Thanks for the link dude, I'll check it. Probs at the end of the week when I finish my finals haha. btw do you like Supertramp?
    July 4 10:23 AM
  • Lowder91bird Cool Type O Negative ratings by the way. I love those two albums. October Rust is a 4.5 for me and Bloody Kisses is probably either a 4.0 or a 3.5. I need to give it another listen at some point.
    July 1 10:29 PM
  • Lowder91bird Thanks for the link. I will listen to it as soon as I can. It might take a little while for me to get to it because I am leaving the country tomorrow to visit my family in Germany and I am probably going to have very limited internet access while I am over there. I am coming back to the states on the 23rd of July. I look forward to hearing the new album and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
    July 1 10:25 PM
  • Frippertronics Silver Moon
    June 28 10:29 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges will do, man. sorry it took me so long to respond, but i've been AWOL for the past two months lol
    June 28 10:13 PM
  • Jasdevi087 Yeah I kinda hoped people were going to enjoy the sound more, but I suppose it doesn't really deliver a lot of the things most people expect to get from a Kayo Dot record. It's understandable, but I really enjoy the album's texture.
    June 25 07:59 PM
  • CaptainDooRight That's the spirit!
    June 24 12:17 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Ratings mean nothing. If you're happy with the results then that's all that matters bro. Trust me it'll make u a stronger person besides it being 100% true. No one was happy with einsteins crazy experiments at first but he's a legend now
    June 24 10:20 AM
  • Jasdevi087 thnx :)
    June 23 05:33 PM
  • CaptainDooRight super trippy stuff bro, my jaw was kinda dropped over certain things
    June 23 03:51 PM

    June 20 09:58 PM

    June 19 05:38 PM
  • Angelboros Love that Cell-Scape rating, man.
    June 19 11:05 AM
  • Jasdevi087 nah I think you'll find the hate is cause it's boring af ;)
    June 19 02:40 AM
  • CaptainDooRight lol
    June 10 09:55 PM
  • CaptainDooRight i 5'd it hard
    June 10 05:36 PM
  • Animadversion love ur last release! that's a pleasure to discover ur ambient side. im always enthralled by ur ability to release diverse stuff and yet retain this hypnagogic, evocative (albeit a lil sibylline and not one of the most accesible) hallmark of yours. congrats bro!
    June 10 05:07 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Yea bro Jacula is some cool stuff
    June 10 02:22 PM
  • CaptainDooRight There is and thank you for your feedback! I'm currently working on atmospheric bm at the moment.

    June 6 03:25 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Cool thank you, sure will
    June 6 03:24 PM
  • CaptainDooRight do you mind also checking out my new electronic lp as well?
    June 6 03:04 PM
  • CaptainDooRight Sounds really good. I found this to be more palatable than some of your recent releases. This is second for me in rank. I appreciated the atmospheric feels. The production is very nice too. I also like the ending to Summoning the Mirror. Great job man.
    June 6 12:05 PM
  • Jasdevi087 Bruh your album got knocked out of the tourney and only three people voted in the bracket
    June 4 07:22 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Yeah, I love it. I can't recommend their lives enough as well, all their stuff gets better over time and consume your life.
    June 2 04:21 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity Nice to see you enjoyed Cosmos :3
    June 2 04:00 PM
  • Idleness
    May 30 12:15 PM
  • Lowder91bird I finally got around to checking out the album you sent me. I apologize for not listening to it sooner. I have been busy. I really enjoyed the album. My favorite tracks are Velis, dedsik, and Norgon. I will give it another listen before I give it a rating. I look forward to hearing your next release.
    May 27 01:56 AM
  • Jasdevi087 yeah there doesn't seem to be one unfortunately. who doesn't want a good hour and a half of a topless chick covered in cow blood screaming?
    May 22 08:50 PM
  • Frippertronics Heard Gone to Earth a while back. Safe to say, it needs to be rechecked because I wasn't too huge on that one.
    May 22 05:58 PM
  • Jasdevi087 **** yeah Plague Mass
    May 22 05:36 PM

  • Frippertronics I surrender.
    May 22 12:46 AM
  • Jasdevi087 Broken Latern is probably the most connected sounding thing you've ever done. Such a big improvement over a lot of your other improv stuff
    May 20 05:39 AM
  • Lowder91bird Thanks for the link. I'm sorry it took me so long to see it. I have been busy this past month and haven't been on sputnik. I will give the album a listen at some point this week or next week.
    May 3 03:15 AM
  • Animadversion im listening right now to The Moon Has Fallen. im really loving it! id be interested to know: aside from other works of musicians, what are the things that inspire you the most to create an album?

    April 10 04:16 AM
  • ScuroFantasma Oh cool, will jam asap
    April 9 07:55 PM
  • Jasdevi087 I actually don't really like Deftones that much, I only really enjoy some of their songs, so it's actually better to me than I thought, but still nothing amazing
    April 9 04:45 PM
  • YetAnotherBrick sweet man i'll jump on that tomorrow prolly
    April 9 11:21 AM
  • ScuroFantasma That sounds great man, I'd be glad to give it a listen :) bring on the grooves.
    April 6 12:21 PM
  • ScuroFantasma Hey man, I gave your King Green album a go. I did like it it more than the Millicent album, but it was still too experiemtnal and 'out there' for my taste. Guess it's just not for me haha, but I'm glad I've given this style a chance :)
    April 6 03:33 AM
  • YetAnotherBrick Cool man, that should add another interesting layer to things haha
    March 31 09:48 AM
  • YetAnotherBrick that's a noble endeavor, man. it makes a lot of sense then that the music sounds the way it does. the brain doesn't build dreams in an orderly fashion
    March 29 11:25 PM
  • YetAnotherBrick fo sho. nice Red Chord 4.5 btw, that's the same rating i gave it. album slays. they need to make some more music. anywho i'm curious, what exactly inspired such an esoteric project as King Green?
    March 29 01:38 PM
  • SmileNerd Awesome! I'm probably going to binge listen to your Millicent Waffles albums today while I play video games.
    March 28 11:29 AM
  • SmileNerd Awesome; thanks! I also have 2 albums in the works which are vastly different than my currently released work. One is a minimally-produced album of field recordings I did over two days, and the other is a piano compilation thing.
    March 28 02:11 AM
  • SmileNerd Hey, man. Remember when you rated my first Trevor's Older Brother album? I have been keeping your criticisms in mind when working on new material, and I've released a lot more on my Bandcamp. Would you mind, whenever you're not busy, listening to some of my new stuff?
    March 28 12:16 AM
  • YetAnotherBrick FRACTIS my bad haha
    March 27 05:13 PM
  • YetAnotherBrick Thank you for making it! It's a ****ing trip, man. My fave is probably Fractic Muris. The level of interaction between the sounds and the voices is really impressive. I'll probably head down that rabbit-hole again the next time i trip haha
    March 27 05:13 PM
  • Jasdevi087 ah cool, that's kinda what I figured you meant
    March 25 11:56 PM
  • Jasdevi087 oh cool you're using proper recording for your new MW? I think this KG is probably my third favourite behind Ooba and Jaded Claws. The incorporation of melodies into the mess actually helped more than you probably thought it would, and the improv itself isn't as jarring as your last one.
    March 25 11:13 PM
  • Judio! Ooba Yung Mot I believe
    March 24 03:24 PM
  • Judio! Appreciate the compliments, dude! Sorry it took so long, but I finally got around to jamming your new album. It was pretty badass! I actually listened to it (and another one of your albums) last night while studying for an exam. I did really well on the exam, so that must be a good sign haha. Probably my 2nd favorite album by you so far.
    March 22 10:58 PM
  • Lowder91bird I have listened to your newest King Green album several times within the past week. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I have been busy. I enjoyed the album. My favorite tracks were "Luna in Obscuritas" and "Fractis Muris". All of your albums are very interesting and unique. I look forward to hearing the next one!
    March 20 01:17 PM
  • Jethro42 oops, it seems you can only listen to one song on bandcamp. Album is available on you tube;
    March 15 07:09 PM
  • Jethro42 Well, good try, friend. Not exactly my thing. it's a handful of random noises to me. I want to introduce you to Miriodor. I've never heard that particular album, but it has pretty good ratings on prog archives. I listen to it right now;
    March 15 06:49 PM
  • Jasdevi087 Hey dude there's this weird glitch on the New Age of Earth page where your rating appears twice lol
    March 8 01:52 AM
  • bnelso55 Oh, cool! Yeah! In my opinion, I'd say you're definitely succeeding.
    March 7 04:07 PM
  • bnelso55 Absolutely! I enjoy following your work, the King Green project especially. I think it?s KG?s conceptual side that appeals most to me. I like reading the record?s accompanying story (about Hildevot, Anorphis, or the city in Jaded Claws?) and then just sitting back and taking it all in. The story and the music come together and I can pictures it all in my head. It challenges me, but it?s always a good time.
    March 7 02:16 PM
  • Jasdevi087 I swear I'm actually gonna check it this time :p
    March 7 02:55 AM

    February 26 02:19 PM

    February 24 10:40 PM
  • Jasdevi087 Fantastic movie and piece, yes :)
    February 16 02:32 AM
  • Jasdevi087 coffins rules bro! David Sylvian's solo work is fantastic (well, up until Blemish onwards, which i'm not really a fan of). The textures of the songs on Secrets of the Beehive are amazing. I'm assuming you caught the version with Forbidden Colours on the end?
    February 15 07:25 PM
  • OldManGramps I'll keep you posted for sure! Going to be working on my next LP very soon as it's bigger in scope production/instrumentation wise.
    February 14 06:38 PM
  • OldManGramps Thank you so much!! That means so much to me coming from yourself! I definitely did feel more natural going through the workings of this one. I'm honored you enjoyed it!
    February 13 01:58 PM
  • OldManGramps Good to hear! Thanks! I appreciate it. : )
