    March 26 07:48 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Lol, I kid. I feel ya. Pretty stellar review, honestly. Just need some commas in there and you'll be fine.
    March 26 05:36 PM

    March 26 02:15 PM
  • Metalstyles Hey man, I didn't get anything done today, so if you want to see a review for that Galar album I'd just say go ahead and crank something out yourself, if you have the time, and I'll try and get it featured. I'm sure you'd do the album justice.
    March 25 07:37 PM
  • cryptside Check Eluvium - Copia. Beautiful ambient with piano interludes a wide array of instruments.
    March 25 07:08 PM
  • Hawks I'll have to see if it's on Spotify, I've always meant to jam that one and never did.
    March 25 05:29 PM
  • Hawks Saw it on Spag's list and it blew me away. Glad you like it too bro.
    March 25 05:03 PM
  • cryptside Yes dude! Glad that you dig it so much. They rule.
    March 25 04:46 PM
  • pissbore http://globalchernobyl.bandcamp.com thats my old metal band check it out bro
    March 25 01:02 PM
  • cryptside Yes sir! He is also one half of A Winged Victory for the Sullen, who you need to check out. It's beautiful ambient/classical.
    March 25 09:40 AM
  • cryptside Really glad to hear that you dig them his stuff, seriously one of my favorites.
    March 24 06:43 PM
  • Hawks No problem my man. :] But yeah I think you'll dig it so let me know what you think. m/
    March 24 05:18 PM
  • Metalstyles I was planning to give it a go tomorrow/the day after tomorrow because I actually have days off then. I'll let you know whether or not I managed to put anything together - if not, it would def be cool if you could throw something together.
    March 24 06:18 AM
  • Hawks Bro jam the Drawn album that I just rated and review it hard. I think you'd dig and your reviews rule and it needs one bad so yeah. m/
    March 23 11:52 PM
  • Metalstyles It's definitely up there for me as well, though I haven't heard that much metal in 2015. Mechina reigns as my AOTY at this point, I really love that record.
    March 21 04:17 AM
  • Gameofmetal Agreed. Really hope I do it justice
    March 20 10:07 PM
  • Gameofmetal Cryptside should be all over it, but I already changed the things you mentioned. Thanks for that.
    March 20 08:13 PM
  • cryptside Nice, glad you're digging! I thought you'd like it, it's seriously one of my favorite albums of all time. Dude, a BM AND a metalcore rec? I'm on it this weekend!
    March 20 07:26 PM

    March 16 11:38 AM
  • CaptainDooRight everytime i hit submit it errors and goes back to the list start page, so annoying, i already talked to mods about it and they said everything is fine
    March 16 10:20 AM
  • Cygnatti good, use it to hit bitches.
    March 15 02:23 PM
  • Cygnatti using the joystick to jump is referred to as "tap jump", and i ****ing hate tap jump. i use A to jump, unless im playing someone else's game, where i'll settle for X.
    March 15 01:57 PM
  • Cygnatti first thing's first: learn2 short-hop. you know how you jump, but if you tap the jump button, you'll jump much lower. the reason why this is so important is so that you can quickly attack grounded enemies with an aerial attack which are usually much faster and much safer than grounded attacks (tho generally not as strong).
    March 15 12:20 PM
  • Cygnatti You've gotten better in some ways but not in others. I wish I could actually be able to talk you through some things, it'd be much easier to explain. And Olimar is a newish character for me, hard for me to get the hang of. But keep on playing! ^_^
    March 14 05:22 PM
  • cryptside Posted it, thanks again!
    March 14 05:06 PM
  • Cygnatti alright then!
    March 14 04:32 PM
  • cryptside Nice dude, I appreciate the constructive crit! I will rework it and post the final draft in there for you guys to read.
    March 14 04:32 PM
  • Cygnatti yeah man, you still good to go?! : )
    March 14 04:24 PM

    March 14 03:28 PM
  • CaptainDooRight dude how do you make lists on this site, doesn't work anymore
    March 13 03:19 PM
  • cryptside Will check tomorrow, my friend! Excited to read it!
    March 13 12:51 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot anytime
    March 12 04:14 PM
  • DarkNoctus thank you so much, man!
    March 11 08:37 PM
  • cryptside Yeah, only listened once but didn't really think that it was amazing or anything. I will need another listen to see if anything sticks out, but it's just okay for me.
    March 11 08:15 PM
  • cryptside Hell yeah man, making it happen! ;)
    March 11 01:26 PM
  • cryptside Thanks man, I will keep you posted on what I find.
    March 8 07:17 PM
  • cryptside Haha no, I just decided to get one. My dad had a huge collection and my fondest memories are listening to Black Sabbath when I was a teenager with him on his gigantic record player. I just decided that if I don't start collecting now, I probably never will, you know?
    March 8 05:57 PM
  • Cygnatti fair warning i don't use facebook all that often except to entertain myself on my news feed.
    March 6 03:37 PM
  • Cygnatti np just sent it to ya

    March 5 04:21 PM
  • Cygnatti it was indeed me, i'm playing right now. : )
    March 5 04:08 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot it took a couple listens to really blossom. it sounds really stripped down, but there's a lot going on
    March 4 08:40 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot ah, well if you enjoy the album/review then by all means :] i won't look a gift horse in the mouth
    March 4 08:14 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot oh idk haha. in all honesty, I don't want to pressure you. i've had my time to shine.
    March 4 08:00 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot well, I'm glad you liked that at least. shame it didn't gain much traction
    March 4 07:52 PM

    March 4 03:27 PM
  • DaveyBoy All yours mate. Feature request away. I had no idea who these guys were a week ago, while they were your most anticipated for the year. So you deserve the spotlight.
    March 4 02:59 PM
  • Trebor. I'll check it out, thanks for the rec
    March 4 02:25 PM
  • Insurrection http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=156671
    March 3 06:47 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot np man. but yeah, 'headfirst' means doing something rashly, so i felt like pointing it out. other than that, no criticisms really. nicely done
    March 3 05:21 PM
  • cryptside Awesome man, can't wait to check it out!
    March 3 02:49 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot sweet, lemme know if you need it looked over
    March 3 02:30 PM
  • Cygnatti hmm so i've generally made a point NOT to mix sput and fb, but with you and andcas, i don't mind i guess. can you send me your profile and i'll add you and then you can get him to add me from there? might be asking a whole lot but i'd really appreciate it. i already spend more time on this site than anywhere else. i don't really need a bunch of sputnikers bothering me outside of here.
    March 2 11:05 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot sup man, i think you'd like this Christopher Hipgrave album
    February 28 11:22 AM
  • Insurrection Idk i just like having my music on itunes so i can put it on my phone. Nothin better than being lulled to sleep by Beethoven's 6th. But i will not stop my hunt for Schubert
    February 26 10:38 PM
  • Cygnatti he works in the navy. he stays at our house every now and then but he can be gone for weeks sometimes.
    February 26 05:42 PM
  • Cygnatti unfortunately my brother took the wii u with him so it'll be quite a while. same goes with the 3ds too :/
    February 26 03:27 PM

    February 26 02:55 AM
  • Insurrection No 8 is queued up and ready to go
    February 25 01:26 PM

    February 25 01:00 PM
  • Insurrection You should man. and ill finally get started on that Black Widow review you thought i forgot about :p
    February 24 10:09 PM
  • Insurrection Hey just curious dude, do you have plans to review any classical pieces in the future?
    February 23 09:56 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Lol, no need to apologize. And thanks. Btw, I noticed you're jamming quite a bit of classical.
    February 23 07:27 PM
  • cryptside I'm sneaky like that haha.
    February 23 12:45 PM
  • cryptside Haha thanks man!
    February 23 12:15 PM
  • cryptside That was a great review, dude. Essentially proves you can definitely pump out a good review under duress lol. No worries, just wondering what you had up your sleeve!
    February 21 07:35 PM
  • cryptside I bet, dude. There are definitely times where I don't review as much, and it always ends up feeling really rewarding finally getting another review out.
    February 21 07:22 PM
  • cryptside Oh s***, didn't know that your comp was still on the fritz. Hasn't it been down for quite some time?
    February 21 07:12 PM
  • cryptside Hey man, any new reviews in the works?
    February 21 06:51 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot thx man, for the support n kind words
    February 20 09:44 PM
  • manosg Thanks man, I really appreciate the kind words. I was amazed by the fact that there were people shoutboxing me about this issue. I didn't want to come out as butthurt or anything, just stating my opinion on this year's promotion process. But yeah, I'll keep writing because I love reviewing and the whole exchange of ideas on here. Thanks again for the support ;)
    February 20 03:36 PM
  • JamieTwort Haha thanks man.
    February 20 02:58 PM
  • cryptside Thanks, buddy! Glad that we are both contribs, very excited to earn the tag.
    February 20 02:33 PM
  • cryptside Haha thanks buddy! New to Summoning so I was pretty blown away!

    February 18 09:20 PM
  • Insurrection not yet but Im downloading his "winterreise" and unfinished symphony now :) and yeah mozart's clarinet concerto is genius. have you ever gotten around to rachmaninoff yet?

    February 7 01:41 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot I'm feeling pretty good about it, thanks for the support
    February 5 03:37 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot *groundbreaking review* ;]
    February 5 03:23 PM
  • manosg You've done your fair share though. 111 reviews is quite a number man. If that doesn't make you a contributor I don't what else does. Plus, I guess it matters how one conducts himself; being a positive influence on here has to account for something.
    February 5 02:38 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot sup man, if you find time to check my most recent review out I'd appreciate it
    February 5 12:45 PM
  • manosg hey man, how's everything? Yeah, I'll probably will, probably in the next few days. Are you gonna go for staff?
    February 5 01:26 AM
  • YoYoMancuso wait WHAT
    February 4 07:04 PM
  • Cygnatti i just happen to have both systems altho i'm not currently able to use the wii u for a bit.
    February 4 06:46 PM
  • YoYoMancuso yeah it did actually. i was pretty happy about it
    February 4 06:23 PM
  • Cygnatti generally teeters around 90% : )
    February 4 12:46 PM
  • Cygnatti sput is officially super weak, man :/
    January 31 10:37 AM
  • Cygnatti I do 1v1, fairly often however since I have a twin brother who is pretty much exactly as good as I am, the two of us play on 2v2 for glory a ton. It's very rare to find two people online that are legitimately better than we are. :D if you want to get better slowly but not want to mess up your ladder, I would recommend doing for fun. Once you're winning fairly consistently, then go back to for glory. You'll get better, man. I know it! : )
    January 30 06:21 PM
  • Cygnatti what you need to find out are "who are your favorite characters to play as" and "who are your best characters" and decide on one or two based on that. bonus points if a character falls under both categories!
    January 28 12:08 PM
  • Cygnatti personally, i'd recommend you stop playing with items, only play on omega stages, and get really good with only one or two characters. from then on, things will come easy-ish. :]
    January 27 10:36 PM
  • Cygnatti You're better than most people I play. :]
    January 27 10:05 PM
  • Cygnatti Hey press the minus or select button once. See if anything happens.
    January 27 09:24 PM
  • Cygnatti gimme a minute
    January 27 09:11 PM
  • Cygnatti Right now? Cuz sure man. :]
    January 27 09:03 PM
  • Cygnatti I gotta go soon, but I can play later on. ^_^
    January 25 05:14 PM
  • Atari You're undefeated u bastard lol
    January 25 04:51 PM
  • Cygnatti Sure sure. More/merrier. ^_^
    January 25 03:45 PM
  • Cygnatti I'm ready. ^_^
    January 25 03:34 PM
  • Cygnatti Cool, I can play within 30-60 Minutes from right now!
    January 25 02:49 PM
  • FromDaHood Thanks dude! I didn't know anyone actually read the blurbs. I would write more but I'm doing 2 jobs
    January 25 02:16 PM
  • puntugruhm you should. also rachmaninoff and brahms are just amazing. awesome to see somebody else has a respect for classical music.
    January 23 11:52 PM
  • scottpilgrim10 They're only selling 2 songs off the album :(
    January 23 09:36 PM
  • Havey and here is some of the most beautiful music in the world https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1__pVSGoec oh and someone mentioned scriabin, this should be enough to get you hooked: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RwdHs756l4
    January 23 09:12 PM
  • Havey elgar's cello concerto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOzatzJEnSo

    January 23 09:05 PM
  • Cygnatti So did it ever tell what my account name thing is, tho? :]
    January 23 07:33 PM
  • Cygnatti crap not now ;/ but i'm free pretty much all weekend
    January 23 07:18 PM
  • puntugruhm thankyou for the comp, its beautiful.i see that youre a big classical fan, do you like alexander scriabin?
    January 23 06:20 PM
  • Evreaia Welp, I forgot to rate that one. I'm not going to try and write something for Sergeeva, bad English and stuff (and neofolk is damn hard to review for some reason, I can't write something decent in English).
    January 23 12:58 PM
  • Evreaia Ill be sure to notify you if I do write something haha
    January 22 03:58 AM
  • scottpilgrim10 Is there anywhere that you can buy all of It Never Goes Out digitally?
    January 21 09:42 PM
  • Evreaia I'll try and write something, been some time. :) And Tenhi is awesome, I'm personally more a fan of Vali (original), but Tenhi is a top tier Neofolk band too!
    January 21 03:04 AM
  • Cygnatti so i need your wii u "name". i guess they don't have friend codes on wii u's. so mine is just "sig", not sure if that'll work but hey try it! ^_^
    January 20 09:29 PM
  • Cygnatti dammit, i'm sorry man! i been waitin' on dat list! urgh, i'll get it to ya today when i get home (within 2-3 hours). not sure if i have plans later tonight until then tho. :/
    January 20 12:30 PM
  • Friday13th yeah dude, Schubert will be next on the Liszt ;D
    January 19 02:41 PM
  • Cygnatti yeah but i'm furiously working on my 2014 list!!! D:
    January 15 03:24 PM
  • Cygnatti hey now, most people are tolerable if they're gettin' their asses beat in smash ! :D
    January 15 12:47 PM
  • Cygnatti I have an idea, make a list about it! I'd love to play some of the other sputters too! :)
    January 15 09:16 AM
  • Mongi123 Also it was a little repetitive. AA is a lot more impressive and dynamic.
    January 14 02:48 PM
  • Mongi123 I agree with brostep on that topic if you ever read his article on reviewing for the sake of reviewing. Sometimes you gotta do it to push yourself, but yea I agree with you there!
    January 14 02:47 PM
  • Mongi123 Jamming Drudhk's debut right now btw it's sweet. Also what's your opinion on reviewing new releases? Personally, I prefer to review older albums cause I find that I have more to say about them, but I try to push myself and review new albums every once in a while too. Since I can't keep up with lots of new releases now, old albums are the way to go for me. Just wondering haha
    January 14 01:39 PM
  • Cygnatti indeed i do, sir. however, i'm currently not at home so i can't find my user info, i'm assuming that this whole thing works similar to brawl, yes?
    January 14 01:19 PM
  • Mongi123 Yea bro I got there fast lol
    January 14 01:17 PM
  • cryptside Yeah, dude! Glad that the new house is treating you well, I hope to be in a house myself with the girlfriend and kids five years from now. It's a lofty goal, but it's do-able. I haven't listened much in the way of classical music. I have listened to things like A Winged Victory for the Sullen, which is like neo-classical and very amazing, but I need to get more into it.
    January 12 08:59 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Thanks for the recs, man. Classical is a genre I haven't gotten to explore as much as I'd have hoped to, so I'll start with those.
    January 12 03:14 PM
  • cryptside What's up, buddy?
    January 11 11:29 AM
  • ExplosiveOranges Sadly, no. What do you consider to be his best work?
    January 10 01:06 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Mozart. I LOVE IT
    January 9 09:09 PM
  • Insurrection dvorak's 7th and 8th symphonies are also very good but 9 is definitely his best. also check Tchaikovsky's Pathetique symphony and Swan Lake
    January 8 04:52 PM
  • Insurrection beethoven's 5th and 7th are on my list to review for sure. i still need to expand my taste in classical just cause theres so much out there but Rachmaninoff's piano concerto no. 2 and Vivaldi's four seasons are absolutely essential
    January 8 03:56 PM
  • Mongi123 Yea dude I will. Damn though it's been pretty slow with new music lately though. I'll prob be reviewing a lot less for a couple of months.
    January 8 02:55 PM
  • Mongi123 Not yet man but I sure as hell plan on it
    January 8 09:16 AM
  • Mongi123 Dude I may 5 Autumn Aurora. This s*** is amazing!
    January 7 10:31 PM
  • manosg Oh yeah, I'll let you know. And whenever you decide to upload a list of classical music, it will be very interesting!
    January 6 03:02 PM
  • manosg Sweet. I'll be giving those Mozart faves of yours a listen soon enough!
    January 6 01:53 PM
  • manosg If I had to choose three, I'd say Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake are my absolute favorites. How about you?
    January 6 02:49 AM
  • manosg Keep rating those classical albums man, I'm gonna be listening some of those based on your ratings ;)
    January 3 11:35 AM

    December 31 05:31 PM
  • Keyblade No prob dude. Dvorak's Symphony No.9, Bach's The Art of Fugue (actually the Brandenburg Concertos, especially #3 are my favorite but you've heard that one), and Brahms' Violin Concerto in D off the top of my head are my favs
    December 28 12:08 AM
  • Keyblade See you're digging a lot of classical lately man. Check out Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A Major. My favorite piece right there, the second movement especially. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcIyTiKwDvU
    December 27 08:38 AM
