  • Gameofmetal Yo dude chill. I wasn't trying to come off rudely, just wondering why you recced the Ocean on a melodic hardcore list. I've jammed some of their stuff. Good band. Thanks for the recs

  • ILiveInNetherlands I was drunk as **** last night and the only news that would be awesome, would be me feeling better.

  • witchxrapist Yeah they're legit, I wanna step up my pop punk game, but that scene's even more over saturated than it's been now and it's obnoxious.

  • SadAndHolyGlow Sorry about that :P But, yeah, good to hear.

  • ILiveInNetherlands Oh, that was my first shotout... Sorry.
    March 20 11:45 AM
  • ILiveInNetherlands I don't really care about her songs, but Katy Perry should get a saint title. And for your appreciation I wish you thousands of sick hardcore jams in your life!

  • butchinette hey man! thanks for the shoutout! ;) if you want some good hardcore, look into bands like Kid Dynamite, Lifetime, Have Heart, Bane, Ruiner, Champion, Dangers or Verse for all-time classics. if you're looking for more recent stuff, check out bands like Rotting Out, The Greenery, This Is Hell, Bayonet, Kerouac, Modern Life Is War, Terror, etc.

  • Davil667 I'm more into old-school hardcore such as Biohazard, Pro-Pain, Madball, Agnostic Front, Sick of it All etc, all of them are worth checking out if you don't know them already. Newer recs would be e.g. Rise of the Northstar (they?re really amazing), Terror, Walls of Jericho...

  • Davil667 Hey Tyler! Thx a lot for your recommendations. Pretty cool stuff... Bleak Reality, Jawbone and Suburban Scum are my favorites on your list. They?re all still very young bands and I?m glad so many new talents are uprising out there. Hardcore is far from dead!!!

  • Ecnalzen Cool. Hope you find some stuff you like!
    November 3 11:55 PM
  • Ecnalzen That second batch aren't a bunch of blind recs, btw. You and I seem to like a lot of the same stuff, and you didnt have those rated, so I thought you might dig them. Also, Alexisonfire - Watch Out/Crisis (P-HC), if you have never listened to them. It def ain't pop punk, but they have some damn good cleans. Sorry to jam up your shoutbox, lol.

  • Ecnalzen And... Just for fun, if you haven't heard these, maybe give them a go, too: Life In Your Way - Kingdoms (P-HC/metalcore), Our Last Night - We Will All Evolve(P-HC/metalcore), Rosalie - The Vitality Theory (P-HC, just a pre-warning, Face Like Thunder is a s***ty song, (that breakdown), but the rest is good), Halifax - The Inevitability of a Strange World/A Writer's Reference (Rock/Pop Punk), and Hopesfall - Magnetic North (saw A Types rated, I think you would like this too if you haven't heard).
    November 2 11:51 AM
  • Ecnalzen Alright... I think I have a few things around that style that you don't have in your ratings. Try out We Are The Ocean - Cutting Our Teeth (similar to Deaf Havana - MMHAL), Roses Are Red - Conversations, Funeral For A Friend - Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation (saw you have WHA rated, so you'd most likely dig this too), Strung Out - Exhile In Oblivion (hardcore punk/pop punk style, but aren't mixed together if that makes sense), Boysetsfire - Tomorrow Come Today (this is just... damn).
    November 2 11:43 AM
  • Ecnalzen Maybe! Whatcha lookin for?
    November 2 11:01 AM
  • Davil667 Hey Tyler! Thx for shoutboxing me. Sure, I'm always interested in new stuff. The harder the better ;)
