| Hawks My favorite on the album is End of All Times (Martyr's Fire). Whole thing slays so much though. I listened to their album Storm Before Calm the other day too and it's good, just nowhere near as good as the past two albums.

| Hawks I haven't heard that one yet. I've heard Dance of December Souls, Brave Murder Day, The Great Cold Distance, and Night is the New Day. My favorite is definitely The Great Cold Distance.

| Hawks Yeah I was never really interested in them tbh. I heard great things about Brave Murder Day and wanted to get it just never did. Then one day I downloaded like 3 of their albums for no reason and loved them all haha.

| Bitchfork thanks :] mostly what i listen to is ambient so people say i'm like eighty. i actually released a split with witchy where i did ambient too.

| Hawks Make sure you get The Gathering Wilderness too. It's almost as good as To the Nameless Dead.

| Bitchfork i turned 14 wed. and didn't start listening to good metal till i was 12-13. it was all emo from 10-12. but there are tons of emo bands with really intricate percussion scores.

| Hawks Yep I got Attende and it was an awesome album. Also listened to By the Light of the Northern Star by Tyr which slayed. Just listened to the new Borknagar album too, which didn't suck anywhere near as bad as everyone says.

| Bitchfork i'm flattered. i use musescore and put the guitars through a distortion filter and then i put them through a wide variety of reverb filters in sound recorder. took about an hour to get the minute worth of guitar to sound black i guess. the drums were really easy, added in those later. piano too. but i am so much more familiar with drum scores so it took like 2 mins to write all of it for that instrument.

| Bitchfork the latter, the reason being i don't have any recording equipment. otherwise the drums and the piano probably would be recorded. can't play guitar though :(
