  • Cygnatti I just wanted to say that seeing your ratings in albums I listened to were always reassuring back when I first joined Sput. Thank you for that.

  • NonApplicable Thanks for the support man! I literally could not believe people were saying Remission sounded the same as every Mastodon release. I guess nobody wants to admit when their wrong(especially on the internet).

  • daIceman I don't have same feelings with Kendrick, I heard "mAd city..." twice I don't like beats, I think the beats are the worse thing about that LP. It's your opinion of course but for me it sounds pretty generic maybe I have some bigger expectations about beats and so on, more experimentation, more "fun" to listen Kendrick has nothing... That big label debut is barely Hip Hop LP and this comes from big hip hop fan I am so sorry.. still it's a music you have different taste if you like it good for you

  • daIceman About Kendrick, I don't know why as you can see I love Hip Hop but for me personally his flow is so boring he sounds like regular guy there is nothing special about his voice, I like El-P's voice his some kin of "drone" voice fits perfectly to his boom bap production, I like Aesop delivery probably the most in the hip hop game, I like angry, eccentrically feel of MC Ride delivery from Death Grips, MF DOOM is beastly great I like Shabazz Palaces so much innovation over sickass Ish Butler flow...

  • YoYoMancuso haha thanks, admittedly the ones i wrote before my El Cielo review were pretty subpar
    October 9 09:39 PM
  • YoYoMancuso oh yeah I'll do reviews as long as I'm on here. My next one will probably be Purple by Stone Temple Pilots
    October 9 07:09 PM
  • YoYoMancuso Yeah I just do it for fun, I have no intention to get to a contributor level or anything. And about the formal part, I feel I've really improved that in the last 4 or 5 reviews I've done.

  • Deviant. It's just really low key dubstep with a lot of ambient thrown in, plus a lot of post rock influences
    May 21 08:26 PM
  • Deviant. Of course it's okay to dislike him if you're not a fan of that sound/style
    May 21 01:18 AM
  • Deviant. The only thing I look for in any genre is whether or not it sounds good to me. I don't concern myself with whether it's popular or a lot of people are digging it, it has to work for me. I'm not sure if that answered your question or not, but there is no set formula for success. In regards to dubstep specifically, I'm not the biggest fan of more bass heavy womp-y stuff but there's still some great stuff to be had in there
    May 21 12:46 AM
  • Deviant. For dubstep check my 2 devstep lists. And for other electronic stuff, my dancing deviant and my drum and bass lists

    March 10 11:54 PM
  • gabethepiratesquid Noo, I find Armistice adorable. Speaking of happy music, do you know/like Shugo Tokumaru?
    March 9 05:26 PM
  • gabethepiratesquid Haha, I love them, but my last.fm Top Artists would probably be way different if I had it today. You like Armistice?

    February 19 09:30 AM
  • balustre Well, I think i was searching for this kind of site for so many years but i've found it randomly while browsing the net. I finally think i've found THE one :) . Lots of genres, great reviews, lists, news... Perfect ! So much to discover, i don't even have time to listen to everything i want !!Yeah... Halford etait splendide !! Et a priori, je devrai revoir le Priest lors des festivals europeens cet ete :)

  • Hawks They don't seem like they're 20 minutes at all. If the albums atmosphere works on you then the time won't be a factor.
    January 11 11:09 PM
  • Hawks I just reviewed the Fell Voices self-titled actually so if you wanna check that out you can, so you know what to expect if you wanna look into it.
    January 11 10:57 PM
  • Hawks Well what I'm really digging right now is the Ash Borer/Fell Voices split, Fell Voices' self-titled album, Ash Borer's 2009 demo, Meaningless Leaning Mess by Bone Awl, Arrive by Axeman. Can't go wrong with that for atmospheric stuff and plus some black metal/punk.
    January 11 10:43 PM
  • Hawks I just noticed your comment on the Mitochondrion review. What kinda black metal you looking for?
    January 11 09:23 PM
  • balustre What's up neighbor ;) ! Great photo for your profil... Saw HALFORD at the heavy metal montreal festival too, amazing performance !!
    January 7 12:15 AM
  • DeafMetal Cool dude. Yeah, Hawks is a black metal freak too. Let me know what you think about those albums.
    October 7 10:05 PM
