  • sonictheplumber Bound by hell-forged chains and fate-haunted circumstance. Well, then?let it be thus so?and men will have cause to tremble and flee when they hear the names of Elric of Melinbone and Stormbringer, his sword. We are two of a kind?produced by an age which has deserted us. Let us give this age cause to hate us!

  • Maniac! Hey, thanks man. I stopped going to practice because I'm doing all of the processing stuff for the Navy. In the meantime I have been working on building a community for my website. I'd really appreciate it if you checked it out and, if you liked it, visited it from time to time. http://mediasnobs.com/

  • SteelErectedb4you8er how much you would charge for such work and when you would be able to get it done. It really is no rush since we still need to make more money before we press it, but I am curious. Let me know what you think, and we can discuss about ideas. Here is a link to our music:http://destroyeroflight.bandcamp.com/album/destroyer-of-light.

  • wacknizzle I'm sorry I guess lol. Yeah you can find alot of cool/rare albums on there, it can be a bit pricey. I need to get a copy of Anthology of Dead Ends from that site, I missed out on the record store day reissue.

  • Maniac! Haha I'm 5'10, 190. My opponents are always 6'3, 200 . I have short legs and arms too. They never have enough people to have the heavyweights in their own class, so they put them in mine. That's when I try to play newaza on them.

  • Maniac! I won 1/3 of my matches. I beat a guy who was around my level of experience. The other 2 matches were against behemoths out of my weight class that were 3d degree black belts :/

  • Maniac! long time no speak, you seem to hide around here
    May 14 03:05 AM
  • sniper i concur. yeah i'm really happy to be in college and taking music classes. i'm just trying to compose and perform as much as possible and i probably wont be done for another few years, even though i've been here three already. no complaints though, i can only learn more for being in school longer
    May 10 05:31 PM
  • sniper your work is good so it seems you got something out of it at least. i'm still in school.
    May 10 04:37 PM
  • sniper are you out of college? how long you been working
    May 10 04:08 PM
  • sniper these are nice man you have a talent. you make money for this kind of work?
    May 10 06:55 AM
  • sniper nice man yeah my dad listens to pretty much just jazz so i inherited a lot of records from him that influenced my taste in artistic music but my parents weren't musicians or anything. what do you mean by illustrator
    May 9 06:53 PM
  • sniper i live in silicon valley, actually, but thanks regardless. are you a musician?
    May 9 09:04 AM
  • sniper yeah deceit is a really good album, totally singular imo. bartok is probably one of my favorite composers. i'm working on a string quartet right now so i've been studying the master.

  • Maniac! Hahaha. That's the beauty of Judo. you can be 300lbs in muscle and an average joe can throw you across the room
    February 5 07:29 PM
  • Maniac! well I'm about to graduate high school and enlist in the Navy, so there goes my free time. I'm getting in as much Judo as possible before then.
    February 5 07:23 PM
  • Maniac! I was going about 4 times a week for a while, but now I usually go 3. I work out with a real hardass. He's a great guy, but he went to the olympic trials in the 60's or something, so he trains hard. He's like 74 and can still kick my ass.
    February 5 07:18 PM
  • Maniac! Thanks. I've been doing this a little over a year.
    February 5 07:13 PM
  • Maniac! You're lucky. I went to the competition in Cherokee NC last month and barely anyone showed. I played two matches out of my weight class and my first match was against a Sandan. lost both matches, but at least I gave the Sandan a hell of a fight. Went 2.5 out of 3 minutes with him. He got me eventually with Juji-Gatame after I escaped his pin as the buzzer went off. That was definitely a fun match, but I have s***ty luck with opponents.
    February 5 07:13 PM
  • Maniac! Yeah I might have to try an open grappling competition to see if I can win with my Judo. I'm a Sankyu at the moment, so it would be a good test. I do have a judo competition coming up next saturday in Atlanta, though. The 20th Annual Waka Mu Sha tourney
    February 5 07:02 PM
  • Maniac! That's pretty awesome. I haven't done any grappling or no-gi competitions yet. I'm definitely interested, but I'd like to take some BJJ first.
    February 5 06:56 PM
  • Maniac! Good for you, dude! Judo is awesome.
    February 5 06:55 PM
  • Maniac! It's hard to tell that far into the execution, but Ura Nage is probably correct. At least some competition variation. You are familiar with Judo?

  • Jethro42 I sure can try; Van der Graaf Generator - 1 Godbluff, 2- Still Life, 3- H to HE Who am the Only one and 4- Pawn Hearts (the first 2 are more 'heavy' and accessible and the 2 latters are more dark, proggy and jazzy). Haikara - Haikara (from Finnish), Anglagard (Swedish), Sinkadus (Swedish). Let me know what you prefer, so I will redirect you better.

  • Jethro42 I'd kill to speak fluently English. I spent too many years without practicing it and now I pay the price. I'm not too good to spontaneously think in English. Most of the time I have the reflex to think in French and then translate in English. When I'm surrounded by English people, my English comes more naturally. Exactly like my good old days in highschool or college. (I was excellent at my English courses thanks to the constant practice)
    March 19 04:04 AM
  • Jethro42 Well, I'm not too bad in English. I keep on improving it here on Sputnik, so no mimes would be needed. I only speak fast with my fellows francophones, of course. It's only that I can't speak fast and neither understand fast in English. A second language can be a bitch, you know.
    March 19 03:38 AM
  • Jethro42 haha it's all fine, you made it much more clearly for me the 2nd time. I for myself tend to speak fast as well in my language, so I know where you're coming from haha
    March 19 03:10 AM
  • Jethro42 I didn't detect any sarcasm, man, no worries. I was simply unable to understand properly your phrase. To sophisticated for my French head haha.
    March 19 03:03 AM
  • Jethro42 Dude I have to tell you, since I'm a French speaker, I sometimes don't catch some sentences well, and it's the case here on the Genesis thread.
    March 19 02:54 AM
  • mvood You have amazing work, although I'm not much of an Illustrator I can appreciate the ammount of time and effort those would've took :p When is your official site online?
    March 19 12:45 AM

  • JulianAssange Yeah I agree, exposing world diplomacy is one thing, but if the big banks become the target and powerful money interests become involved, the blades come out even quicker. I'm glad you're following what's going on!
    December 11 03:46 AM
  • JulianAssange We will see what happens Tuesday. There is no stopping wikileaks from releasing more documents. Only 0.5% released so far...the sudden incarceration I think is more of a response to what was said about the possible bank documents coming up... bank interests have a lot of power and they will do everything they can to prevent any economically disrupting info from being released. Shareholders are on the line.
