| TheMoreira Ok so i've listened to it like 4 times now and it sure is having the same effect Sean Hall's EP had on me. It's definitely a grower. On my first listen i didn't pay a lot of attention but really, these dudes are very proficient on their instruments. Lovely leads and riffs in general. Still missing some vox but yeah, it's pretty good for what it is. No doubt though, it's the piano parts that make the whole melodic thing they're going for flourish. Very good.

| LilLioness I know no one can stand the first two, but they speak to me much better a lot of the rest of their catalogue (at times, the more coarse stuff can feel like the same song done a different way). I get he was going for a consistent band style but I thought it took away a lot of the density the band usually presented. | JAV I thought the pelagial samples sounded great.Of course the Helio samples sounded pretty good when they were first released also and they turned out ok but imo not the quality standard they had before.The way the recording of pelagial is being described it could end up being another precambian and ealrier quality album.One thing is for sure Seldon Hunt does some beautiful artwork for all these bands.

Overall it's not as outright accessible as Diamond Eyes was nor as heavy and nu-metal inspired as their previous albums, but with repeated listens each individual song slowly shows its true beauty.
