| Eclecticist I don't as much as I used to but yea it's not uncommon for me to log on here and see something interesting on the front page or in a list that I later look up and end up liking. I just wish people shared music like they used to in the earlier days of this site. Back when an album could go from 12 ratings to 345 in less than two days.

| Eclecticist It's pretty good. Connecting with the users there is really fun and has good vibes. Though sputnik is still the mecha for strange album trends and music sharing.

 | geasoftime I don't know if you're aware, but Warning broke up and formed 40 Watt Sun. Their album The Inside Room is just as good as the one you mentioned.

| Eclecticist I'm not really all that into their other albums but Boxer really connects to me for three reasons. It's lyrically interesting to follow the singer's narrations, the music is really well co-ordinated and passionate, and every time I listen to the album I feel: a) as though I am walking through well-lit city streets late at night on a rainy day, or b) in a semi-lit condominium after the best sex of my life looking out a window at a rainy, dark sky, into the city thinking with deep melancholy.

| geasoftime Hopefully you give Time a second listen. I had given it a 3.5 my first listen, and bumped it significantly the second time I heard it. I feel like it's a grower type of album.

| CaptainDooRight thanks man, I feel honored to be able to share my music with everyone. I'm definitely glad it's being rec'd well. Everyone's encouragment has a been a great support for me and everyone's been really kind too. However, I really wasn't expecting everyone to like it as much as they did. I've already begun writing for my next album but it'll be much different. It'll be 100% pure death metal favoring the styles of Death, Atheist, and early early Gorgutz. I hope I can pull it off.

| Omaha It should be really great. i had the privilege of meeting Casey this weekend, and it definitely put the group into perspective for me. The album definitely seems like a continuation of the style explored on White, which I was a fan of. Not sure how I'll enjoy a whole album of it though!

 | YoYoMancuso yeah it's one of my favorite albums for sure, although Teeth Like God's Shoeshine is the pinnacle of the band. Life Like Weeds is my backup depression song, with Elliott Smith's "Between The Bars" being my go-to track when I'm down.

| YoYoMancuso music is certainly a great way to do that. if you haven't listened to Modest Mouse's first three albums I recommend them (based on your last.fm charts). They're really powerful and helped me out quite a bit.

I mean they're 3 ****ing awesome songs, but they play like 7 from the new one why not throw in fcking Polaroids of Polarbears or something every once in a while? 44 though, always amazing live.

| Aids nvm just checked online. we got the same setlist except they played CS vs HR like 5 songs later for us, and you got To A Friend instead of Get Fighted. And while To A Friend is my favourte aof tune, I still think I win because not seeing them play Get Fighted at their last ever show would have seriously made me cry. you didn't even get to yell "maybe music isn't dead, maybe we all just forgot what it fcking sounded like......I!!!
