| MoosechriS hi dude i'm good, hows yourself. Just got married a week or so ago so couldn't be happier at the moment. Well as far as black metal and music in general i've been a bit lax in the last year with a change in job and obviously most of my expendable income being consumed by paying for mine and my wife's wedding. | Atari I wouldn't say i review like a pro lol but thanks for the compliment man. One of my problems is once I start a review I literally can't do anything else until I finish it I get in the zone. That can be a good thing as far as how fast I get the reviews done but I need to learn to be more patient and maybe come back to the review the next day and see how it reads before I post it. And funny enough i'm actually a member of media snobs but haven't logged into that site in months lol

| SowingSeason Outside of that it's just a combination of how well you write reviews, how consistently, and how you interact with the userbase in general. A good part of it is luck because it seems like you need to catch the eye of a site admin (Willie lobbied for me to get contrib back in the day, and then again when the staff promotions came in the fall). But anyway I'm making this way more complicated than it needs to be. Just review new releases and try to have fun while doing so and thats your best chance

I'd try to review a couple times a week (or at least once a week) if you really want to grab people's attention. It's possible to get it with only a few reviews, but that's rare. It's been a while since I've really sat down and read one of your pieces, so if you want I'll start giving you feedback on new reviews.

| seedofnothing that awesome! I'm glad you dug it. I love melodies but a lot of the time slower paced melodies can be really effective. I was inspired by Encoffination's newest album but I kept my own style of melody in it. It actually sounds nothing like Encoffination's work but that's the cool part to me, because Ghoat's outlook on life inspired me more than his actual music.

| seedofnothing yeah bro the "muddy OSDM sound" is exactly the sound I want too bro. I can actually do that by adding a bit of distortion to the bass, lowering the treble on the distortion[but keeping distorion high at the same time] and mixing the overall track to sound more muddy as well. But I'm down for whatever. Once we get all the compenants down we can go from there. That's awesome you got a mic, before you records though you can either wait for me to finish the production, bass, and poss other parts...
