  • SowingSeason If you liked the embedded track you should try that album. It's a little too mainstream to be a 5 but I think you'll enjoy it to some extent, whether it's in the 3's or the 4's

  • DaveyBoy Yes. Unsure when though as I really want to let it sink in. Pretty certain I have the structure and main points of my review ready to go, but strangely my overall thoughts and rating is still to be determined.

  • patrickfannon I have not read Hicks' book yet, but I've been dying to. Defeater's new LP is ridiculous. I'm new to hardcore, so they have been a nice introduction. I've been digging Protest The Hero "Scurrilous", Between The Buried and Me, "Parallax", The Dodos "No Color", Explosions In The Sky "Take Care" and The Middle East's "I Want That You Are Always Happy." Keep me up to date on any gems you find, and I'll do the same. Take care, brother.

  • patrickfannon Brilliant ****ing avatar, man. Bill Hicks is one of my idols. I wonder what he'd have to say about Sputnik... Anyway, what are some of your favorite albums of the year thus far?
