| geasoftime other albums. They're all 4 in my opinion. I'm interested to see how you feel about the Annorkoth album. It's mostly instrumental black metal/shoegaze... kind of like Woods of Desolation. Pretty awesome.

| geasoftime I'm pretty much the only person that digs that album, I guess. I just think that the guitar is insanely powerful. Every chord send chills up my spine. Encircling Sea can build atmosphere like no one else with just a guitar and a drum kit. I just feel like they've legitimately wed post-rock to black metal, and so many bands have failed trying to do that. They use the vocalist at every crescendo, which I guess is a bit generic.. but, I like it regardless. Anyways, you should definitely check those

| geasoftime Yeah, this year is going to be one of the best in recent history for music. I have 40 albums I'm waiting on. But honestly, there's been so much good metal already: Encircling Sea, The Fall of Every Season, Redwood Hill, Annorkoth, Fen, In Vain, Mourning Beloveth, Cult of Luna.. ect. Have you heard that Encircling Sea album by the way? It's probably the best black metal/post-rock release ever, but no one's given it much attention.

| geasoftime I just heard Avifauna a few weeks ago. It had been on my list of things to do since it leaked. I don't know why I waited so long... it's definitely my favorite Fauna album. The acoustic/neofolk aspects so expertly compliment the black metal, it's a wonder that they're not more popular. It's crazy to see how little metal there is on everyone's "2013 so far" lists. Don't they know that metal is the best genre?

| geasoftime Man, I feel like it's never going to come. I thought it was coming out at the very beginning of March, and the extra 30 days have felt like an eternity. I was just reading the Bis Aufs Messer website, and they say that it was recorded live. I guess they're going for the serious raw production. It looks like we'll have it in three or four days tops. I bet you the album passes by unnoticed on sputnik...

 | Hawks I don't know what you have/haven't heard, but my favorites are Ash Borer, Nachtmystium, A Forest of Stars, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Deathspell Omega, Panopticon, Grimlair, Wodensthrone, The Great Old Ones, Torture Chain, Borknagar, Addaura, Axis of Light, and Abigail Williams.

 | NonApplicable In regard to the Killswitch news article, I wasn't soliciting illegal downloads of anything. The song was meant to be listened from the embedded music player. It was the only way to listen to the song. As for leaks being unacceptable news items, that is complete BS. I seen and commented in numerous "leak articles"! Regardless if a leak is intended(quite often bands intentionally leak news), that's just the harsh reality of things.I appreciate the sentiment, but I simply don't agree.

 | Crysis If I had to say right now it's like a 3.5. Granted, I've only listened to it one time so that rating is very shallow, but it was in general good. The three long songs - the three legit "tracks - are all very good, it's just that the four or five interludes are kinda lame.

| CaptainDooRight I really only review albums that I'm passionate about. I actually didn't like that album at all. I would end up giving it a bad rating. There is only 1 song that I actually liked; that being "Cataract". The whole song is perfect except for the vocals. They detract from the musical feel. If there were high pitch ambient screeched vocals instead, it would sound perfect. and if all that songs sounded like how I just described I would be all over that album. Is that your band?

 | Jesuslaves Nah, WPB is good, but Endgame has the clear advantage. I have the former at 4 and the latter at 5, for a measure. I get the feeling, by listening to it, that WPB will be one of those albums that I like and almost everyone else here hates.
