  • FreddieDelaney31 Hey, I was wondering if I could request Frank Ocean's new album for the review challenge? It's a pretty huge release and I'm proud of the review I wrote. If not, I'll do one of the other albums!

  • Shadowmire thanks man; my problem was honestly as simple as being too stupid to find the edit button but i managed it eventually. any advice on reviewing? i went a bit out on a limb for that one as i've never written one before, but the album is a favorite and was in need of one
    August 23 09:28 AM

  • GhostOfSarcasticBtrd Hey, seeing as how you rated the Bad Omens album just thought I'd let you know that I've now submitted it as news twice since it was inexplicably rejected the first time. I don't know who is monitoring it but if you want others to check 'em out maybe that should be approved.

    August 9 01:18 PM
  • DaveyBoy Ta. I was actually a little disappointed in the Weezer LP. I have 1975 to listen to, the length always puts me off. Thanks for the other 2.
    August 6 10:11 PM
  • DaveyBoy Hey stranger. I hope all is well in your busy life. Theres a serious lack of anything satisfying me in 2016, so tell me a few albums Ive missed, will ya. You know me. I like it catchy.

  • Hopelust Hey man. I know you're staff that generally appreciates this sort of music so I thought I'd bring to your attention a young canadian artist named Hannah Georgas. Just released a new album called For Evelyn. I think you'd really dig it, and it certainly merits a review if any of you at HQ have the chance/time.
    August 3 12:57 PM
  • Toondude10 I'll admit, there's definitely a couple duds but there's a few songs that I just think are some of their best too.

    July 8 05:12 PM
  • Rastapunk No harm done, I understand the wait too. I actually hesitated in posting the suggestion as my review was one of the two but I wanted this album that I like to have a feat (from whoever to be honest). Your interpretation is understandable given that fact. :)Peace :)
    July 8 04:22 PM
  • TalonsOfFire Amazing Daisy review Sowing, and sorry to hear you leaving, but it sounds like you have some amazing things ahead. Thanks a lot for helping me develop my writing and all your help over the years. I'm sure we'll see you around in Brand New threads once in a while, take care!

  • RadicalEd bye sowing. Don't be a stranger.
    July 2 02:31 PM

  • Toondude10 :-(
    June 30 11:54 AM
  • Arcade yo just saw your list. wanted to say goodbye and thanks for your work with me during your time on the site. i don't spend much time on here anymore due to a multitude of factors but tbh you've supplied me with a lot of helpful feedback in my time that i believe has had a direct influence on my improving writing style generally. whatever you're up to now, i wish you the best, catch'ya on the flipside.
    June 30 01:24 AM
  • Jacquibim It's all good man, I don't have anything like the responsibilities you do. I left a little comment on your post in the staff forums, hope everything is peachy on your end : )
    June 29 07:01 PM
  • DoofusWainwright cheers sowing, this mystery mod...!
    June 29 02:30 PM
  • AtomicWaste I'll hold ya to that, man! Hopefully I can suggest something wherever you wind up - I was more in the bar scene in KOP and Reading. Best of luck with life and the missus - make sure to pop in and say hi when you feel like it!
    June 29 01:06 PM
  • DoofusWainwright Can I ask a favour - do you mind changing my score for my Missing Andy review to the fabled 0.5/5. Having a 0.5 review up will make me feel special as sad as that may sound :D
    June 29 12:24 PM
  • Toondude10 new Dear Hunter and Relient K? what a day :-)
    June 22 06:17 PM
  • Feather Do you know what ever happened with the Last.fm integration? I kinda miss it.
    June 22 10:35 AM
  • torts you should go feature my g.l.o.s.s review, jus sayin
    June 18 12:07 AM
  • CaliggyJack I know it has to be approved by moderator, but even when it is, it still seems to mess up. Not sure why.
    June 16 08:48 PM
  • CaliggyJack Yo Sowing. I keep trying to the album pic of my new album on http://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Caliggy-Jack/74756/ with this pic https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a0655370916_10.jpg . For some reason, no matter what I do it never posts correctly. Am I missing something?
    June 16 08:48 PM
  • BHAR Your review is making me want to listen to his and S
    June 12 04:55 AM
  • theBoneyKing Consider me intrigued! A have heard a handful of S
    June 11 04:27 PM
  • theBoneyKing I plan on checking Stranger to Stranger soon so that'll probably be the first one I hear in full, but I will definitely get on the S
    June 11 04:23 PM
  • theBoneyKing Ha, that's what I thought! ;-] But seriously, I definitely need to check out his work both solo and with Simon and Garfunkel; as a huge folk fan I understand it's pretty embarrassing that I never have.
    June 11 04:18 PM
  • theBoneyKing I want to clarify cause I couldn't quite tell based on your recent ratings: do you like Paul Simon's work?
    June 11 01:27 PM
  • Toondude10 check it out, it's amazing, probably better than the new one
    June 9 10:05 AM
  • Toondude10 have you checked out O'Brother's debut yet?
    June 7 07:32 PM
  • TalonsOfFire Don Anderson from Agalloch stated that this album was a huge influence on them making The Mantle, I ordered the CD on Amazon cause it's so hard to find: /watch?v=YTMfVBRkw8w
    June 7 04:05 PM
  • Atari Graceland is finally growing on me thanks to your review. Figured I'd give his stuff another shot before diving into the new one
    June 7 01:43 PM
  • Toad thanks for the feedback, sounds slightly terrifying but that's life. i really should be fine as i'm student teaching in a nice school which apparantly has a great hiring rate for those who student teach there, and i have strong grades at a good school. but i'm also trying to make it in writing or music so i'm not sure. what do you do now?
    June 6 10:22 PM
  • onionbubs cool thanks dude!
    June 6 11:31 AM
  • onionbubs what was on the playlist you made with out of range i am a nightamre and mene from fyod? im thinking of recreating that playlist because i wanna see how the new songs could play out in an album type environment.
    June 6 10:05 AM
  • Jacquibim No worries man, there's no hurry and they're only suggestions but yeah, worth considering imo
    June 5 04:30 PM
  • Atari really appreciate you taking the time dude! I suppose you're right, I've just been writing a lot more the last few months or so and had a feeling my writing may be suffering from autopilot syndrome. That's great advice though , about keeping it interesting for myself and people will probably find it interesting to read as well. Cheers!
    June 4 09:47 AM
  • Jacquibim hey did you end up getting my email?
    June 3 02:21 PM
  • Atari hi mr. sowing, do you think my latest review for big thief turned out ok? I can't shake the feeling that my writing has become a bit redundant lately. might be time for me to spice things up or take a break soon, but any honest critiques you have would be helpful
    June 3 11:48 AM
  • LizHanson Good afternoon, SowingSeason! I've read so many your reviews, especially for Taylor Swift and I want to say: it was very impressive. I want to praise writing style of articles, objective criticism and mature arguments. Liz.
    June 3 07:20 AM
  • Willie Other than Red (which I added), the rest were just local release dates. I really like what you're doing with the news, by the way.
    June 1 08:31 PM
  • Waior hmm. not sure, can't promise anything... in my mind, i never left! i tend to chime in if i start really caring about a record (thus writing four reviews last year, which is a record amount since 2011). i just can't find time for it!
    June 1 07:05 PM
  • Atari you might dig this new debut album by big thief I just rated
    June 1 01:00 PM
  • torts I mean what don't you like about the album?
    May 31 01:36 PM
  • SPRFanOf5H Well I loved your feedback and letting me know the good and the bad because that's gonna help me go a long way there! And I really am appreciative to hear about the potential you say I have with my writing, especially because I'm trying to be a music journalist and that's my passion so like to me it means a lot because it's really what I'm striving for.
    May 29 01:26 PM
  • torts talk to me about that hotelier 3.4,,,,,
    May 29 10:05 AM
  • Mongi123 Alright no problem thanks
    May 29 10:02 AM
  • SPRFanOf5H Thanks for the feedback and praise man, I really appreciate it seriously. I just wrote a new review on Flume's new album actually so I thought I'd let ya know about that when you get to it, knowing you're busy and all that. Love your input as always my friend, it does so much to get me forward as an aspiring music journalist so it really motivates me hearing what you guys are thinking with the reviews I've been dropping.
    May 28 10:34 PM
  • Mongi123 Hey Sowing, was wondering if my Thrice rev could get featured for a bit if there's no one else lined up? Wasn't sure if you missed my post or not haha
    May 28 10:39 AM
  • BHAR I wish I could give 0.5 too :/
    May 28 06:32 AM
  • FreddieDelaney31 Thank you, it means a lot cuz it's my first feature and it's my favorite band, I really appreciate it!
    May 27 09:46 PM
  • SPRFanOf5H Yeah man I'd appreciate that actually! I would love the general pointers as per usual that would seriously help me a ton, I'm just really confident with how I've been doing especially over the last year writing on here I've felt like I've been doing really well minus some reviews I've screwed up with. Anything from any of you guys on the staff with advice would do so much for me really, and I can wait patiently for you to get back to them obviously.
    May 27 09:27 PM
  • SPRFanOf5H Thanks man, is there anything I need to work on it or this review pretty good all around? I have no idea who featured this but it means a lot to me to even get featured again. This really makes me feel like I'm actually progressing as a writer here and that's absolutely the goal here is just that, being an aspiring music journalist this is something I strive for. Whoever featured this, seriously it means a lot.
    May 27 09:12 PM
  • SPRFanOf5H Thanks man about that it would mean a lot to me. I just wrote a new review on the new Fifth Harmony album so I'm trying to just keep writing and clean up the mistakes whilst enjoying the work at hand, read it if you want man, it would mean a lot I'm just trying to see if I'm doing better at this because I want to keep going at it progressing as a writer.
    May 27 06:12 PM
  • Brostep Haha if you want to do it no toes will be stepped on, I'm perfectly happy to let you take this one and pick up the slack with another album later next week
    May 27 01:49 PM
  • FreddieDelaney31 Alright, thanks for letting me know, I just wanted to know how it all works and whatnot!
    May 27 11:38 AM
  • FreddieDelaney31 hey, quick question: do y'all plan on featuring a review for the new Hotelier album? it released today and i've been anxiously awaiting my fate as me and Rowan put in requests for mine to be featured a few days ago
    May 27 10:00 AM
  • Brostep not sure at this point, been surprisingly busy. should have time on saturday to finish my writeup but if you can do it earlier it's all you
    May 27 12:47 AM
  • Toondude10 fair enough, tomorrow is going to be a good day
    May 26 08:54 PM
  • Insurrection hey SS, just wondering if my whitechapel review can be flagged again. not sure why it was taken off; http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/62036/Whitechapel-Our-Endless-War/
    May 25 10:28 AM
  • Toondude10 you gonna review the new Thrice album?
    May 24 02:16 PM
  • ellagos Check the latest Paul Dempsey album "Strange Loop", I think you might dig!
    May 24 11:11 AM
  • Jacquibim Email is sent, look forward to hearing back.
    May 24 02:24 AM
  • Toondude10 I think you might like this band, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q86UbYIX-EY
    May 22 12:33 PM
  • CaliggyJack First off I want to thank you for treating me so well despite my reputation on this site, I know it is kinda coming out of nowhere but I appreciate the comments you and LordePots left defending me and your amazing support as a mod. Just thought I'd get that out there :)
    May 21 07:48 PM
  • Homogenic What's your favorite record by Mariah Carey?
    May 21 11:27 AM
  • SPRFanOf5H Hey man I thought I'd ask you if anything in instance to how I've been doing as a writer, since tomorrow will be 2 years writing on this site like how am I doing as a writer? Am I progressing? Am I regressing? I'm happy with being featured for my Ariana review but I see how much flack it's getting as well so I'm just curious over it.
    May 20 08:56 PM
  • wtferrothorn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccztRby3FAk I think you'd dig this. What do you think?
    May 20 07:56 PM
  • collynas441 Also, would you like to take a look at the new album from Yuna - Chapters? Irving Tan reviewed her previous album "Nocturnal" favourably, but i think Chapters is much better.
    May 20 08:18 AM
  • Homogenic Can't wait your review for Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman! Easily best pop vocal album of 2016 imo.
    May 19 08:56 AM
  • TheSpaceMan I was just teasing, I obv wasn't commenting on your list just to humor you lol. just thought it was funny you avoided legitimate discussion about your list... and you know how sarcasm doesn't translate too well through times new roman
    May 18 07:51 PM
  • TalonsOfFire lol I appreciate your mercy in that regard. I think I always knew deep down that the mods wouldn't really let something like that happen. I guess him claiming that he can see people's IP addresses is bs
    May 18 06:47 PM
  • TalonsOfFire I don't even know who I am anymore
    May 18 06:16 PM
  • JonEthan I just remember you disliking Magnetic for being more or less a rehash of the same, tired formula. There's a lot more EDM influence, but I think you might like some of the hooks here, and the lyrics are FAR better than on Magnetic. I'd check out "So Alive" to get a sample of the sound, and "Souls in the Machine" if you just want some classic Goos (one of their best songs in the past 10 years imo)
    May 18 03:10 PM
  • Toondude10 fair enough
    May 18 11:29 AM
  • collynas441 Any thoughts on the newest album from Arthur Beatrice - Keeping The Peace?
    May 18 09:02 AM
  • Toondude10 You gonna review that Sylvaine album?
    May 17 09:03 PM
  • TalonsOfFire You dig the new Brand New song? I'm pretty conflicted. On first impressions it seems pretty carefree and poppy, completely different from the depth of Daisy and Devil and God. Mene was pretty good tho, I honestly have no idea how this new album will turn out.
    May 17 06:53 PM
  • JonEthan Hey, in case you're wondering, the GGD's dropped a new album this week. I'd like to hear your opinion on their pop sound, when you can get around to it.
    May 15 10:14 PM
  • Gleam Great answer. Thank you for your time! A Moon Shaped Pool is growing more and more on me. It might not be their most innovative or bizarre effort, but it might be their most refined, emotive, saddening, cohesive, well-structured, well put together and most seamlessly flowing record to date. I'm freaking loving it, and it's great to see you're loving it as much as me.
    May 14 05:24 PM
  • Gleam Hi, mate. Do you really think A Moon Shaped Pool is Radiohead's best record? If so, why? I'd really like to know your thoughts.
    May 14 04:54 PM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Yes. That's what happened to me, I thought it was extremely overrated from what I heard but on Thursday I bought it and it's just amazeballs when you really let it sink in... Why must the best albums take so much time to click?
    May 14 11:29 AM
  • AngryLittleAlchemist Do you not have In Rainbows rated?
    May 14 11:23 AM
  • Jacquibim Sweet as, I'll send something your way soon.
    May 14 10:06 AM
  • Jacquibim Hey dude, if you're willing to help, I think it's probably best to discuss Sputnik's classical selection via email, because there's ~a lot~ to be changed if we're to have a more accurate and comprehensive database IMO. Consulting the userbase whether via a list or a blog post and getting their input would also be a good idea because hundreds of users have classical ratings and it'd be a shame to lose them.
    May 14 10:02 AM
  • Toondude10 You gonna review the new Radiohead to counteract Johnny's 3.5? Or am I just being silly?
    May 10 04:52 PM
  • TVC15 Haha I absolutely love that nickname under your username in the Community forum!
    May 10 12:07 AM
  • theBoneyKing Damn Sowing, hitting "A Moon Shaped Pool" with that insta-5!
    May 9 04:07 PM
  • Toondude10 Decks Dark and Desert Island Disk kinds bored me but everything else is fantastic
    May 9 01:05 PM
  • CaliggyJack Yo, you think I could get a feature for the Sputnik hunger Games list? Also, it just gotd 13 minutes ago. you are still alive btw.
    May 9 12:44 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot might nudge it up... ~might~. I certainly think it's great but I have some beef that I'll make sure Thom Yorke takes to heart
    May 9 12:16 PM
  • Mongi123 Like a much better 0 by Low Roar honestly
    May 9 11:28 AM
  • Mongi123 Agreed though about A Moon Shaped Pool. It's amazing how much they accomplish with a more chilled laid back atmosphere. It's very dreamy and moody, in a less hard hitting way like Kid A.
    May 9 11:27 AM
  • Mongi123 As great as OKC is, nothing can compare to the music of Kid A for me. There's just nothing else like it.
    May 9 11:23 AM
  • Mongi123 Awww that sucks, it's sooooo good. Such a return to form after TKOL. Probably their best since Kid A.
    May 9 11:21 AM
  • Mongi123 Gonna review the new Radiohead dude?
    May 9 11:18 AM
  • CaliggyJack Well **** me forget it lol
    May 9 10:31 AM
  • CaliggyJack Got any other staff willing to sign up? Trying to fill up the roster before noon. If I cant its fine but still
    May 9 10:29 AM
  • Toondude10 I guess we can assume what the new User's aoty is going to be, assuming the new Vektor doesn't have enough votes
    May 9 09:58 AM
  • Toondude10 I remember I really dug The Bends but for some reason I didn't rate it. Street Spirit is amazing.
    May 9 09:55 AM
  • Toondude10 Don't forget In Rainbows too. I don't know what's wrong with me but I'll listen to those when I get the chance. Gotta say I'm surprised there's only 2 reviews for it. I expected about 10 of them by now.
    May 9 09:50 AM
  • Toondude10 perfect timing :-P I surprisingly loved it considering that I was never really that much into them. Guess I have to listen to their previous stuff to see what I was missing.
    May 9 09:45 AM
  • Toondude10 haven't listened to the new Radiohead yet huh?
    May 9 09:43 AM
  • zakalwe What time is it released for you? i keep hearing different things here. 1630, 1900. 2000hrs. I think it'll just appear and knock us all for six.
    May 8 07:40 AM
  • zakalwe I think I have a 100% record of agreeing with you on absolutely nothing but that has now changed. Great Burn the Witch write up. ****ing unbelievable tune!
    May 7 01:12 PM
  • TalonsOfFire lol good question. don't know if that means you read the email or not, basically everyone's annoyed about the staff review for Gore, the thread is ah quite something. Mongi also mentioned it in the meds thread a few days ago
    May 6 07:39 PM
  • TalonsOfFire Hey Sowing, was wondering if I could email you about this Gore review situation, or is that territory more suited for Atomic or Jom? Thanks
    May 5 10:35 PM
  • Atari works for me haha, thanks for taking the time to respond! I guess I was thinking dragging the corner of the images caused them to get stretched out and blurry (my bad). that justify button will be useful too :] I just personally think the presentation on your blog posts is much better, but i'll play around with it more until I'm happy with the way mine look
    May 5 01:58 PM
  • Atari also, any other suggestions you have are welcome as well. I just want to tidy up my presentation as much as possible if I'm going to continue with the track reviews
    May 5 12:23 PM
  • Atari I have a couple quick questions regarding the formatting of your blog posts if you don't mind. I'm wondering how you get the text to not cut off on the right side of the blog posts (it's like a perfect straight line down). I've tried increasing/decreasing indent etc. but can't seem to figure it out. I'm also just wondering if there's an ideal way for sizing the images the way you do? Cheers!
    May 5 12:10 PM
  • klap if you dug that song i'd check out Corsicana Lemonade by them. best album imo. the new one is hit or miss
    April 29 04:45 PM
  • Atari man, you've gotta get on Morby's sophomore album, Still Life. Not sure if you'll agree, but I think several songs are on par with Singing Saw (Bloodsucker, Parade, the Ballad of Arlo Jones, Amen) can't remember the last time I was so addicted to a new artist
    April 28 07:37 PM
  • Toondude10 new Thrice song: http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/2016/04/27/475764110/vikings-choice-thrice-black-honey
    April 27 07:59 PM
  • theBoneyKing Your review of the Kevin Morby got me thinking, you should definitely check out Crazy On The Weekend by Sunhouse. It's a pure classic indie folk/folk rock album. Check out Doof's review of it.
    April 25 06:46 PM
  • RadicalEd Check out Agnes Obel already you lazy bum. You'll love it.
    April 25 08:18 AM
  • Atari Nah, I'll give u the chance first man. I'll be happy either way as long as it gets a review :] plus I already wrote that little TOTD blurb for Dorothy. I'm addicted to that song, prolly by favorite song of the year
    April 23 04:04 PM
  • Atari If u get to the point where u don't think you'll be covering that new Kevin Morby let me know. It's so ****ing good
    April 23 12:07 PM
  • Snowdog808 Thank you very much for fixing that.
    April 21 08:28 PM
  • Atari yeah, digging it so far. anything similar to Dylan or The Tallest Man on Earth is right up my alley :] also coming around to that new frightened rabbit album. turning out to be a great year for folk music
    April 21 07:53 PM
  • Atari you think you might review that kevin morby album? great find man
    April 21 05:06 PM
  • Snowdog808 The second of them from the bottom, the one with the sole successful album entry, is the one to keep by the way.
    April 20 11:44 PM
  • Snowdog808 Hi Sowing. Sorry to bring something this large to you, but I would appreciate it if you could all but one of the Momma Non Piangere band entries. I tried multiple times to add their latest album into the database, and this is the unfortunate result.
    April 20 11:42 PM
  • DoofusWainwright I enjoyed the O'Brother, it actually has a 90's vibe in there for me (I've not listened to Thrice or other stuff in this genre much). Nice rec!
    April 19 04:34 AM
  • Atari no worries, it's a shame the sput community doesn't pay more attention to the staff blog. I get just as much enjoyment reading a new TOTD post as I do a review (plus it's a quicker read!)We could always brainstorm ideas to get people more interested in the TOTD's, but I think it is what it is. It's pretty sad how some s***ty news article about the story so far's singer kicking a girl off stage gets hundreds of useless comments, but a well thought out blog post goes almost entirely unnoticed lol.
    April 14 04:36 PM
  • Titan your predictions
    April 13 08:57 PM
  • MyCarandMyGuitar Thanks man! I'm into Twilight Sad so the accent shouldn't be too much of a problem aha
    April 13 07:43 PM
  • Titan where's the NHL thread bro?
    April 13 06:51 PM
  • MyCarandMyGuitar saw you talking about Frightened Rabbit in the White Album thread and was interested, where should I start with them?
    April 12 09:32 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot https://hallelujahthehills.bandcamp.com/album/a-band-is-something-to-figure-out i think you'd really enjoy this
    April 11 03:14 PM
  • Futures uh well first off that's my name and picture and they're making fun of the fact that i have cancer. my bad i thought you could easily see whose made it. i'm positive it's lordepots though.
    April 11 01:50 PM
  • Futures the least you could do is give me a response tbh
    April 11 01:43 PM
  • BHAR Well, if it grows on you, you will most likely remember me.
    April 11 01:40 PM
  • BHAR BTW, If you're interested or if you want to listen to me (of which I'm sure you would deny my request), check out At The Drive-In.
    April 11 01:18 PM
  • BHAR I'm sure it will grow on you. Think about Kid A; A majority of Radiohead fans had been disappointed until it became a massive grower. I was one of them - I was thinking of giving it a 1.5 but it ended up being a 4 after two listens.
    April 11 01:15 PM
  • Toondude10 thanks for the proofread, though that wasn't really many edits tbh.
    April 11 12:58 PM
  • BHAR I thought Ophelia was super.
    April 11 12:51 PM
  • BHAR Cleopatra 2.2 :(
    April 11 12:33 PM
  • Toondude10 awesome, just shoot me your email and I'll send it to you ;-)
    April 11 12:09 PM
  • Toondude10 Are you free at all? I was wondering if you could proofread a review of mine.
    April 11 12:04 PM
  • Futures http://www.sputnikmusic.com/profile.php?memberid=1070263 lordepots probably made this. he is obsessed with me and it is really disturbing something should probably be done
    April 10 06:19 PM
  • SmileNerd Nvm it seems the issue has been fixed. Thanks, if that was you that fixed it.
    April 7 09:12 PM
  • SmileNerd Sowing I did something bad... I was trying to add this band to the database a few days ago called Heat of Damage. It didn't look like my submission was going through though so I added it a million times... still wasn't going through. So then the site went down and now that it's up I checked and there about 5 or so Heat of Damage's. Sorry for the inconvenience but I'm just wondering if you could all of them except 1? Thanks in advance lol :)
    April 7 09:01 PM
  • Toondude10 I've come to confirm that the new Deftones album does indeed rule :-)
    April 7 03:59 PM
  • Frippertronics well, it wasn't the one I was intending on putting out (Dust). I just figured I could continue onward in their discography since I did plan on having it finished before Dust came out, but other priorities came first.
    April 6 08:24 PM
  • klap Peacock told me to listen to it too and i haven't gotten around to it yet but am planning too. honestly been pretty busy just been focusing on things i'm supposed to review and inevitably end up never getting to (radical face) or actually should (m83). new woods kills too. i have been burned by weezer too many times so i was hesitant tho
    April 6 05:09 PM
  • TalonsOfFire Oh I didn't know you completely changed careers, the work sounds pretty interesting and similar to what my dad does. Whatever allows you to keep reviewing and listening to new music too; I hope to be lucky enough to work somewhere in the future to be able to have time for that.
    April 5 05:13 PM
  • c0ffee i have a hunch you'd like some Radical Face. imagine finding something like Carrie and Lowell or For Emma but in an entirely different way; the pieces buried in a narrative instead of so barefaced. the last album is a pretty good place to start, but you can't go wrong anywhere from Ghost onward.
    April 4 09:14 AM
  • Frippertronics sup man, got a write up for the new enid album in the works. Probably will get it up and posted by tonight or tomorrow afternoon, you willing to give it a look?
    April 2 10:42 PM
  • Rowan5215 Ahhh close enough is good enough I guess
    April 2 08:09 AM
  • Rowan5215 Awesome, let us know how that TLSP is. I'd recommend listening to Hammock on headphones, in the dark or even on a nature walk, somewhere you can see the night sky
    April 2 08:04 AM
  • Rowan5215 Completely spaced on that new Last Shadow Puppets, damn. If you like the new Hammock check their other stuff, very rewarding discography.
    April 2 07:58 AM
  • Rowan5215 Between the two April 1st is one of the best days in music I can remember recently. You heard any other Hammock at all?
    April 2 07:51 AM
  • Atari if you want to hear something similar to tigers on trains check out the band woods. they're streaming their new album now, but their last one "with light and with love" is great as well
    April 1 02:26 PM
  • TalonsOfFire https://www.yahoo.com/celebrity/taylor-swift-freestyles-and-free-1398308654030902.htmlHey Sowing you should make this gif your new av hahaha
    April 1 01:54 PM
  • Atari cheers Sowing, you're the man
    March 31 02:54 PM
  • Atari no worries man. if you think it looks bad feel free to it and I can try typing it in again. not sure what's with the strange characters on the words "you're" and week's". it's not a big deal, I was just curious if there was a way to edit it
    March 31 02:36 PM
  • Atari so there's no way to edit comments in the blog posts? not sure what's with my recent comment lol
    March 31 02:07 PM
  • Toondude10 fair enough, though I think you might like Addicted.
    March 28 04:17 PM
  • Toondude10 Not sure if it's really you're type of music but have you listened to Devin Townsend at all?
    March 28 04:15 PM
