    April 16 09:20 PM
  • Voivod Indeed man, indeed!
    April 15 02:36 PM
  • Voivod I've been jamming the debut Triptykon album as of late, pretty solid stuff but quite a few steps below than any Celtic Frost album, flops like Cold Lake excluded.
    April 15 02:07 PM
  • Voivod I'm on the new Mekong Delta album right now, I dibbed the Triptykon album at the forum, but I plan to pick it up as soon as a finish with my current assignment. That is, if no one else picks it before I do ;-)
    April 15 02:06 PM
  • fromtheinside i only ask cause yours will take precedent so i will stop kind of writing. also, mention their weird love affair for mexico for me will ya?

  • TheBarber oh really it's not a problem (although I'd be curious as to why I was banned in the first place), but thanks a lot for the concern man! also have you found any other noisy sludge band I should check out?
    March 16 07:46 PM
  • Mad. Hmm, not sure I could say enough about it. Maybe Hoppoman will

    March 1 03:02 PM
  • chemicalmarriage No worries, completely understandable. Happy jamming m/
    February 26 12:02 PM
  • chemicalmarriage I know you're a busy guy, but if you get the chance I think you'd do an awesome review for Encrust-From Birth to Soil. I'd try but I definitely don't have the skill
    February 26 02:35 AM

  • Frippertronics hey, would you be able to check my writing on the proofreeding thread. atm it's just a blurb but i'm still fleshing it out
    February 17 03:43 PM
  • menawati Yes i went out drinking tonight thinking ' that wasnt a good idea really' but the sad thing is most of it was true. Thanks for the feature I'll continue doing lists of music that 0.1% of the community care about.
    February 15 08:00 PM
  • menawati yes got it, damn they took down my sexist list, can understand why tho haha
    February 15 07:49 PM
  • menawati yeh easy to find just look for Martin Legg there aint many people with that name, it's a dozy looking bloke in a white shirt with sunglasses on his head

  • JamieTwort Cheers Greg m/
    February 11 05:15 PM
  • menawati oh thanks mate, didnt really expect it though really as I didn't do hardly anything on here last year
    February 11 03:42 PM
  • Mad. Well, as long as it's still got those awesome keys and doesn't sound like a Clutch clone, I'm a happy man!Did you ever check Humanfly? Definitely worth it
    January 23 01:43 PM
  • Mad. Less reggae? Damn, that was my favourite part about Lionize. Anyway, I'm lookin forward to it all the same. I might end up 4.5'ing Superczar, recently ordered the CD. Space Pope is also an excellent album.
    January 22 12:48 PM
  • Mad. Yo Greg, how's the new Lionize then? I see you've upped your rating
    January 22 02:57 AM
  • SadAndHolyGlow That's cool. I would definitely disagree with you "The New Normal" being accessible. It seems more like an experiment in edgy song structures, much like Tool. "Sharing Space" has lots of songs that could easily be played on any radio station.
    January 5 11:11 AM
  • SadAndHolyGlow So, I believe that "Sharing Space" FAR surpasses "The New Normal" (the latter sucked in my opinion). Great progressive that has a nice alternative edge to it.
    January 4 07:18 PM
  • SadAndHolyGlow Phew! A 5 for Cog's "Sharing Space"? I'm listening to them now, although everyone says I should listen to "The New Normal" first. Oh well. I'll let you know what I think!
    December 28 08:49 PM
  • menawati **** knows what it means haha
    December 19 05:09 PM
  • Mad. hey Greg, you'd dig this album so hard: http://humanfly.bandcamp.com/album/awesome-science-2Pretty damn unique, one the AOTYs
    December 14 07:29 AM
  • NocteDominum http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=135558
    December 3 08:38 PM
  • JamesDay Why did my review for apex of apathy getd? I also put up albums for the band, I'd like them back up now.
    November 9 09:19 PM
  • CaptainDooRight check my new album bro, don't forget to rate: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=145268
    November 5 01:29 PM
  • deathofasalesman Thanks man. Will check those out. And might I suggest Psychic Teen's "COME"? It's a strange album you might dig. All kinds of crazy influences.
    October 29 05:15 PM
  • deathofasalesman What's some abstract but good stuff you've heard from this year. You tend to review some great hidden gems.
    October 28 05:28 PM
  • Jethro42 Hi! Voivod gave me that link. Awesome prog band - http://motherturtleband.bandcamp.com/album/mother-turtle
    October 21 01:27 PM
  • Mad. Awesome that you listened! At first some of the songs may seem pretty standard but the more you listen, the better they get, like Leave Something Witchy actually has an incredibly intense, powner full middle section and Nowhere to Go has some pretty atmospheric lyrics. The best tracks are the more complex ones like Mexico (very layered, great lyrics), HWY to the Morning Star (that solo makes me cry, man) and House of the Dying Sun (just all-round brilliant). Solid 4.8/5 for me...
    October 8 11:30 AM
  • Voivod I will man, especially since I found out that they have a bandcamp location - http://subrosausa.bandcamp.com/. Thanks for the kind reminder.
    September 28 01:25 PM
  • Inveigh word, checking now man
    September 1 05:45 PM
  • Metalstyles Aight, well I'd love to hear about Italy in more detail so when you get back and feel like sharing I'm all ears.
    July 30 05:07 PM
  • Metalstyles Uuuu, you're in Italy? What's good there?
    July 30 04:08 PM
  • Metalstyles Hey man, in a very long time I've got a rec for you. Try these guys out, really fuzz-ladden stoner rock and I like their new album quite a bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_WqqpbN5KY
    July 28 04:02 PM
  • pribosse greg check this out bro you'll love it http://necrodogg.bandcamp.com/album/spontaneous-combustion
    July 13 08:04 AM
  • Inveigh word, I've never been a screamo fan but I do dig some black metal. deafheaven offends my black metal sensibilities though
    July 3 05:28 PM
  • Inveigh I think I understand why people like it, but it seems like it's aimed at trend-hopping youngsters. it's nothing overly original, just very marketable (i.e. people who would never ever listen to black metal can get down with it and then claim they listen to black metal)
    July 3 02:56 PM
  • Jethro42 Hey. Do you have a torrent for Man's Gin?
    July 3 11:21 AM
  • Jom Most likely this week. As you know, we are still trying to figure out the decision tree.
    June 30 05:38 PM
  • menawati hey there, good to be back
    June 27 12:45 PM
  • VuvuzelaBzz I noticed you're one of the few staff-members(and users in general) to have rated Nothing More's debut album. You might already know this, but a bit over a week ago they released their sophomore album and it's quite an improvement in my opinion, so since you dug the first one I assume you'll like it. As one of the other people who's rated/commented on it said "This really needs to find a way to people's ears".
    June 22 05:07 AM
  • xxm Cheers.
    June 18 06:09 PM
  • xxm I love your reviews despite disagreeing with most of your opinions.so you're good.
    June 18 05:57 PM
  • Brostep Haha I know what you mean. I've got two or three albums I need to review this month and am having trouble finding the motivation to do it
    June 11 07:47 PM
  • Brostep I agree it's really good, and I may give it a go. Thanks for the reinforcement haha
    June 11 07:01 PM
  • MrElmo Well I toke that Hawk eyes discog of course, Castrovalava is also a real good choice but I really don't know how to describe them, the mini ST is essentially instrumental and can get pretty crazy. The first LP We are Unit is the same but with vocals. Awesome band but pretty odd at times imo. Other than that haven't checked the rest, I heard humanfly was cool
    June 6 10:25 AM
  • MrElmo Hey Brew is closing down and so for the next two weeks all of their stuff is up on bandcamp in "pay what you want" be sure not to miss out anything mate
    June 5 08:30 AM
  • xenocide. Ciebie równie?. By?em ca?y czas, tylko si? nie odzywa?em. Mo?e by si? spotka? przy okazji Days of the Ceremony?
    June 4 05:33 PM
  • NocteDominum if you need links, hit me up on fb
    May 28 07:32 AM
  • SitarHero Alternatively it's also possible that California is making everyone go soft.
    May 28 07:09 AM
  • SitarHero Hopefully it's just a bizarro sophomore slump. The band doesn't play unreleased material live, so I don't think they really have a sense of what was working and what was not while writing and recording TDPDH.
    May 28 06:27 AM
  • SitarHero I sort of understand. There are no surprises and no instant classics, but the album's been growing on me.
    May 28 06:06 AM
  • SitarHero Not digging the new AiC huh? How come?
    May 28 05:14 AM
  • MrElmo Song you linked was pretty cool, I'll go read your review
    May 28 02:43 AM
  • truekebabpower I'm glad you dig it. That EP is amazing believe me and I'm regretting I haven't listened to their new Lp sooner. I was hoping you would add some bands that are a bit more similar, since you seem to be the stoner(ish) rock authority here.
    May 27 07:28 AM
  • truekebabpower Hey! You should check out The Botanist if you haven't yet, seems right up your alley. They seem to be criminally unknown. Here's a link to their bandcamp: http://thebotanist.bandcamp.com/album/ablyss
    May 27 06:49 AM
  • MrElmo Nope haven't yet but will listen
    May 25 01:21 PM
  • MrElmo Dammit!
    May 23 05:33 PM
  • MrElmo Here dude you should dig this pretty hard, it's an awesome band that decided to go for a pretty badass and dirty album Heroic Dose, enjoy http://thesemonsters.bandcamp.com/
    May 23 01:39 PM
  • Rowan5215 s*** man that was awesome. Thanks for sharing.
    May 17 08:18 AM
  • lately dam
    May 16 06:20 PM
  • lately dude have u heard the new anciients, it destroys clutch
    May 16 04:59 PM
  • Omaha ah, i see. You could still eventually write a review for it if you wanted, though-- I did that for Tera Melos, because I really dig them anyways.
    May 15 04:36 PM
  • Omaha hey man, I posted the new Queens album in the Upload Thread. You should review it!
    May 15 04:12 PM
  • Nagrarok I didn't leave a comment but yeah I read it haha.
    May 14 04:45 PM
  • Nagrarok Just leaving you a shout to say nice job on putting Beastwars in the spotlight here. Definitely one of the best new bands I've discovered this year thus far.
    May 14 04:18 PM
  • Metalstyles Aight, you know, I'm so forgetful that when you see the album drop, give me a shoutout just in case, because I may very well forget about its existence haha.
    May 14 01:43 PM
  • Metalstyles Hey man, Willie posted Age of Tarus' new album in the review requests section and it seems really cool. I don't have time for reviewing atm because I'm in the middle of the exam period, but I think it's something you (and I both) could really dig. Let me know what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP_uxL4Ifn0
    May 14 07:28 AM
  • insomniac15 Hi! Can I ask you something ? I contacted Tim Bowness of No-Man for an interview, because I love his music. He agreed and I will send some questions through mail for him to respond. Is there a chance you can post it on the blog section for me ? :D I understand I am a contributor only and I hope there aren't any inconveniences.
    May 13 09:29 AM
  • insomniac15 Probably the new QOTSA will be an eclectic record. Era Vulgaris was their weakest yet, but it has some great tracks (I like Turnin' On The Screw, Suture Up Your Future, Sick Sick Sick and 3s And 7s). Yeah, Lo-Pan's Salvador was a great record and the Chichen Itza video is funny. Red Fang should also release new stuff this year.
    May 6 03:52 PM
  • insomniac15 There have been already released some amazing records in the past months. However, I still wait for the new Sasquatch most and QOTSA now. From what I've read Sasquatch IV is already finished, but they haven't announced a release date yet, dammit.
    May 6 03:06 PM
  • insomniac15 I was thinking you were gonna review it, but Hernan will do a great job too. Fuzzbang is really cool, I was expecting it to be a lot harsher given the cover and video. It'd sound cool to listen while driving, much like Fu Manchu.
    May 6 02:49 PM
  • insomniac15 Have you heard the new QOTSA track ? It's really sweet. I'm stoked to hear Like Clockwork.
    May 6 02:32 PM
  • insomniac15 My band and I have been added to the Lake On Fire Festival! I am so excited! We're gonna share the stage with Deville!, Sungrazer, Samsara Blues Experiment (if you haven't heard them, check out Long Distance Trip, it's so good, I bought the CD). I'm gonna try and get Deville's Hydra record while there. I hope it doesn't sound like bragging, I'm just happy lol.
    May 2 03:32 PM
  • Voivod Found this band accidentally, I think you will dig them: http://mothermars.bandcamp.com/
    May 2 05:24 AM
  • Metalstyles Alright, thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
    April 27 10:25 AM
  • Metalstyles I do have a question I'd like to ask you, though. The main picture for the blog post that resizes itself - how do you get that to work? Because I haven't been able to. The so-called main picture at the very top I've always added manually by cropping pictures, but seeing as how all you other staffers have such awesome main images, I'm sure there's a better way.
    April 27 09:04 AM
  • Metalstyles It isn't a bad idea at all in general, but the thing is, in this particular case, the audio quality was far from superb and even I as the conductor of the interview had, at times, quite a lot of trouble extracting what it was exactly that he said. That's why I wrote it down. Also, and this might just be me, but I'm afraid that people would get turned off when seeing a 45 minute audio clip.
    April 27 09:01 AM
  • insomniac15 Yeah, I agree. There are some records that just get lost behind some terrible ones pushed in front.
    April 25 03:47 PM
  • insomniac15 I got busy with Clutch this week, but I got the album. From your review it seems really good, as the bands you compared it to are great. I'll check it out tomorrow :D So many new records lately.
    April 25 03:39 PM
  • Voivod The more I listen to it, the more it looks like a high 3.5, i.e. 3.6-3.7(tops). The press release mentioned prog rock, there isn't enough it in the record to substantiate it though. The same apply for doom. It is a cool vintage rock album from a band with a definitely positive future outlook.
    April 25 04:15 AM
  • Voivod Hi Greg I saw your post about the new Purson album, it's great and somewhere in between a 3.5 and a 4. Will have something written about it during the first ten days of May.
    April 25 12:41 AM
  • donovan909 I have been on here reviewing for some time! My label has released my first album and I would like it to get reviewed. I emailed the general email and got no response. I wanted to find out where they can send a copy.
    April 23 07:47 PM

    April 15 07:30 AM
  • insomniac15 I haven't been on Sputnik for a few days and I must've missed your Loading Data review. From what you wrote it sounds cool. I'm getting this right now. Also, Clutch's Earth Rocker is so good, I truly understand your review now haha.
    April 13 05:10 PM
  • BigHans checking it out now. Its pretty solid, wouldnt say its better than Volbeat though
    April 11 10:22 AM
  • Inveigh lol yeah I call it "the eternal struggle"
    April 7 07:59 AM
  • NocteDominum why you no feature my list : [ sad iPod
    April 4 07:21 PM
  • CaptainDooRight cool thanks bro but its actually eclectic progressive music. Check out out the last 3 tracks, there's absolutely zero dm on those, those last three tracks are progressive rock actually and I did the drums on those as well as everything else. Then if you like those try Red Sky in the Morning afterwards
    April 2 06:14 PM
  • CaptainDooRight new album is done, Paper is gonna rev but feel to check it bro - http://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/black-horse-plague
    April 2 02:35 PM
  • Willie Yeah. I wasn't on much over the weekend.
    April 1 11:02 AM
  • Xenophanes New KEN Mode is pretty sweet. Cheers.
    March 21 12:15 PM
  • AtomicWaste Thanks, man! Been pleased to see you kickin' out good stuff on the reg as staff (well-earned yourself, btw) and I'm glad to be in good company.
    March 18 08:38 PM
  • robin cheers dude, that's decent of you. i'm enjoying it there, just wanted a change of pace really, stretch out my portfolio if by miracle i can ever end up getting paid for this s***. congrats on staff if i didn't say it btw
    March 11 08:19 PM
  • HSThomas Hey Greg, where did you develop your love of stoner rock from? Also from your point of view do you sometimes feel you've ever overrated an album? Don't mean it to be malicious or anything I'm just curious to see what your whole perspective is on it.
    March 10 06:07 PM
  • MrElmo Good review mate, the atmosphere is indeed crushingly badass, Laura says this record will be colder and darker eh? more and more psyched. oh and you could have also added that her vocals have improved a lot
    March 3 01:56 PM
  • MrElmo Cool you made a track review, really excepecting this album to be one of their best, I know they have the potential to make a classic if they pushed themselves even more. (also can't wait for cover)
    March 3 09:59 AM
  • MrElmo Dude did you hear the new Kylesa track? The new album is gonna be badass as f**k, you gotta review it when it comes mate!
    March 3 09:34 AM
  • Voivod I'm really sorry for not noticing your post on the blog, I saw the news items on the Kylesa album page and nobody had posted it there.
    March 2 08:02 AM
  • Brostep Hehe I'll get to some more stuff soon, don't worry
    February 28 10:13 PM
  • Willie Nothing yet. I'll get with them again.
    February 28 06:27 AM
  • SgtPepper Awesome. I'm reviewing it myself for another website I write for and I'm so pumped to hear it. I'm very interested to see what you think of it.
    February 26 06:44 PM
  • Omaha Hey dude, did you get your username changed back to Greg84?
    February 26 05:38 PM
  • SgtPepper Greg, I realized that I have yet to congratulate you on the promotion. You and I don't talk much, which is a shame because we seem to like a lot of the same stuff. I hope that changes though. Anyway, again, congrats and I'm looking forward to your review of Clutch. Earth Rocker will kick ass.
    February 26 04:52 AM
  • Insurrection Koi no yokan
    February 25 02:02 AM
  • Insurrection Congrats on staff! Ever since i read your KNY for some reason i knew you would get the promotion
    February 24 08:11 PM
  • breakingthefragile Eh, aw well. You win some you lose some right? Title's a title anyway. Whether I'm staff, contributor, user, whatever, I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
    February 24 06:21 PM
  • breakingthefragile Sup gregy, congrats on staff man!
    February 24 05:34 PM

    February 24 03:49 PM
  • JamieTwort Hey man, congrats on your well deserved promotion.
    February 24 12:08 PM
  • linguist2011 Yeah I'm thinking of trying new releases in the future just to give my writing that bit more variety. In all honesty though I only ever review more for my own entertainment than for professional purposes.
    February 24 11:20 AM
  • menawati grats on staff greg, you definitely deserved it
    February 24 10:03 AM
  • linguist2011 Congrats on your staff promotion:)

  • NocteDominum It's my next review, and it's not going to be a lot of people's thing.http://www.last.fm/music/Botanist
    February 21 07:14 PM
  • NocteDominum I'm going to ask; have you heard of raw plant/ eco terrorist black metal?
    February 21 07:07 PM
  • BigHans fist hard
    February 21 05:52 PM
  • BigHans That slayed hard
    February 21 05:18 PM
  • BigHans I did not but that makes me extremely happy. While Im here, what was the most badass stoner record of 2012? I literally listened to almost no new music for almost a year.
    February 19 02:48 PM
  • NocteDominum Best thing they've done in about 12 years.
    February 18 04:47 PM
  • NocteDominum New saxon - sacrifice
    February 18 03:47 PM
  • FiveLeavesLeft Thanks, man! Yeah, that competition is what worries me a little. A pretty good chunk of contribs are rec'ing me, but then again, there are always people like Atari, Ipod, etc. Eh, what happens happens, I guess
    February 13 12:52 PM
  • aok am i worth it? did i put enough work in?
    February 12 01:43 PM
  • Brostep I'll listen to it in a bit, it looks pretty sweet
    February 12 09:21 AM
  • Brostep Just discovered Diablo Swing Orchestra, and holy s*** I am absolutely blown away by Pandora's Pinata
    February 11 08:02 PM
  • Omaha You also have Option Paralysis 5'd? Hell yeah.
    February 8 11:59 PM
  • Iluvatar it is time to change my music taste!
    February 8 01:24 PM
  • insomniac15 I am getting Audrey Horne's new record. You made me curious :D. Meanwhile Gozu! and Deville. They are a lot of fun.
    February 8 08:41 AM
  • insomniac15 I really like Deville's record, it rocks hard. Still, I like Gozu's release most at this moment. Irish Dart Fight is so catchy, I love it.

  • insomniac15 I saw a SmallStone post on Facebook with Deville's new record and liked the name. I also read your review, I have to check it out. I haven't had time lately because I have a lot of exams. I'm getting this now. Also, I never knew there's a metal/hard rock band named after the sweet girl in Twin Peaks. I have to check them out too.

  • DeadToPain One of my favorite bands ever.

  • NocteDominum Dude, i hope you get staff
    February 7 06:28 AM
  • NocteDominum from the band camp link on the review? That's a shame i was entranced by them.
    February 4 05:06 PM
  • NocteDominum what you think of talisman stone dude?
    February 4 04:52 PM
  • DeadToPain I can't really say I'm not biased against it. I haven't liked them that much since the first two albums, but I agree. Even objectively speaking, that album blows pretty hard. I always used to get the "you only like Converge because everyone else her does". I bought "Jane Doe" the week it came out, it's the same for all that era stuff, I didn't even have internet at the time. I'm also an old man, so I just let it go.

  • DeadToPain Thanks man! I've been a member forever, and I still haven't rated so many thing, I need to get around to it. I have been working at it as I listen and get reminded of stuff through the site or as I'm listening to shuffle. You dig some genres I'm not huge on, but the things we share are pretty spot on.I wish more people here liked less crap pop-punk and stuff, but other than that, this site has pretty great taste.

  • EaglesBecomeVultures We take more drugs than a touring funk band
    January 10 06:02 PM
  • Voivod Thanks for alerting me ;-)
    January 10 12:24 PM
  • Voivod Ok I will write it tonight.
    January 10 12:23 PM
  • Voivod Greg, I've posted the piece about Converge's new album and the piece concerning my favorite tracks, at the Contributors thread, in the forums.
    January 6 10:19 PM
  • Voivod Okay, will do.
    January 6 08:25 AM
  • NocteDominum Dude, what'd you think of Witch Mountain's 2012 release?
    January 2 09:19 PM
  • Voivod Greg I have posted the propagandhi piece about the users' best 2012 list on the contributors thread in the forum, check it out. I hope I will have the converge and revocation pieces ready by the end of the day.
    January 2 08:25 AM
  • Gabestigmatic So, I saw that you posted a review of the new Kowloon Walled City record. The new guitarist is the guitarist of Tigon. He also played in a band before that called Longtooth {*they posthumously had some vocalists (friends and friends of friends) lay down some vocal tracks} with the drummer of Early Graves. Just thought you might enjoy.http://tigonkills.bandcamp.com/http://www.myspace.com/thelongtoothcollective http://www.myspace.com/curseofthezerohttp://earlygraves.bandcamp.com/
    December 28 09:18 PM
  • Voivod about exact deadline.
    December 28 11:02 AM
  • Voivod Ok I will do all three, Converge, Propagandhi and Revocation. As soon as you know, the rank of these releases in the list - and hence the volume of text needed for the users' best - shoutbox me pls.
    December 28 11:01 AM
  • Voivod Can I swap Propagandhi for Revocation? I feel less relevant to the former act.
    December 28 10:47 AM
  • Voivod To be quite honest, the Revocation EP is much closer to what I casually listen to, in terms of metal. What about Converge and Propagandhi, someone else offered to write those? If yes, then it is ok.
    December 28 10:30 AM
  • Voivod Wait a sec, did you asked if i should cover the revocation EP for the users' best list?
    December 28 10:20 AM
  • Voivod I haven't written anything yet for Propagandhi and Converge. Do you have any idea when the users' best list will be finalized or if a deadline for a text was made known?
    December 28 10:02 AM
  • Voivod Hello Greg and merry Christmas, I have listened to the EP when it was offered as a free download and thought it was great, I will put in my mp3 player, but i'm not sure when i will up a review, have to do some research, write a good opening paragraph, my usual line of work as usual.
    December 28 10:01 AM
  • RollieQuibbs Thanks Geg! Where do I find the User Poll for AOTY? Prog might need a boost
    December 25 01:32 AM
  • linguist2011 Will do. I haven't been on here enough to notice:P
    December 21 10:51 AM
  • MrElmo hmm the album grew on me, I now like the 2nd track, strange I could swear hating it yesterday, album's a grower
    December 20 05:04 PM
  • MrElmo I'll have to agree to disagree on the second track, but otherwise yeah the bass tone is really cool and the genre shifts do work pretty well, I'll go give it a few more spins
    December 20 01:40 AM
  • MrElmo went through the wole album, pretty kickass but some tracks can be week (second one is terrible imo) and the production shows some flaws. around a 3.5 for me, will def keep an eye on them and their next records but they won't be seing christmas money from me atm, I'll look at the live you passed me , cheers
    December 19 02:26 PM
  • MrElmo just jammed platoono of uno, so awesome
    December 18 05:51 PM
  • MrElmo damn they are awesome, an odd mike patton meets jello biaffra singer with a nice dirty punk feel, cool rec, i'll listen to the whole album, you gonna review?
    December 18 05:37 PM
  • MrElmo Kay cheers I'll check
    December 18 05:29 PM
  • WeepingBanana Idk man, I wasn't huge on The Shade Of The Sun. It seemed really out of place compared to a lot of the hard hitting songs in the first half. I need to listen to it a few more times though
    December 16 04:32 PM
  • WeepingBanana finally listened to Kapitan Korsakov. the first half of that album is way better than the second IMO. i guess i just don't like it when my noise rock has feelings
    December 15 07:53 PM
  • evilford dude help me complain in meds thread if you disagree with sonic's banning. thanks. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showthread.php?p=18978378#post18978378
    December 15 11:43 AM
  • Nagrarok It might actually be my favourite this year, so number 1 it is.
    December 14 11:57 AM
  • Nagrarok Of course I'll vote, it's one of the best albums I heard this year, I would love to see it making the users list. I admire your determination as always but there's really no need to keep convincing me here.
    December 14 10:58 AM
  • Nagrarok Alright, I'll work out a list today then. Would definitely be great if we could get it in there but it won't be too easy, so I see why you're throwing out the reminders.
    December 14 08:21 AM
  • Nagrarok Almost forgot about that. I don't exactly my digs regularly, but assuming you mean Beardfish, of course they'll be on the list.
    December 14 05:52 AM
  • JamieTwort Hey man, no I haven't yet but I will do.
    December 12 03:34 PM
