  • DoofusWainwright They're on metacritic and they got the main feature review in Uncut magazine last month, not sure why I didn't follow up on that and check them out but glad I did now. It's not earth shattering but I haven't heard too many retro 80's indie albums this year and it's definitely a good one.
    November 27 03:06 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Enjoying The Chills album...and it is a lot like R.E.M!
    November 27 02:51 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I've not used RYM but I had a look around the other day and I really disliked the current design. I can easily imagine someone developing something way better than this site though
    November 26 11:25 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Got to admit a little wary of that that description but I'll give them a shot, I like R.E.M so I must have some indie-jangle in me
    November 26 11:07 AM
  • VheissuCrisis Cheers, that's still one more resource than I had before. There's a picture on German articles which I can't seem to link to you which accurately sums up its difficulty. I'll persist, danke.
    November 26 04:36 AM
  • VheissuCrisis Am I right in thinking you're German, Ed? If so, do you know what the best resources are for learning it, except Duolingo.
    November 25 01:57 PM
    November 24 01:26 PM
  • DoofusWainwright Clutch are a weird case where I love the band, really like a lot of their songs, but don't think they've ever done themselves justice across a whole album. Really want to catch them live some time
    November 17 03:02 PM
  • EvoHavok Some other time for sure! :D
    November 17 02:50 PM
  • EvoHavok Thanks for invite, but I wouldn't be able to stay much at all cuz I need to go to sleep earlier today :(...
    November 17 02:45 PM
  • Sinternet i'll be on shortly
    November 17 02:44 PM
  • DoofusWainwright I think I gave it a try before and passed over it as not my thing but I'll give it a proper go. Surprised to see Clutch in your top 10, must have grown on you a fair bit.
    November 17 12:34 PM
  • DoofusWainwright Yeah finally a Potsy rec I really really dig. I liked the Little Simz, Big Blood, Clarence Clarity, Black Wing and a few others but not to the extent of this. I might even bump that score to a 4.5 if it keeps growing on me.
    November 17 12:26 PM
  • DoofusWainwright I just get the feeling 2015 is very nearly done, don't seem to be any big releases on the horizon (feel free to correct me on this), and I don't want to put up two lists at the same time with a bit of overlap
    November 16 11:15 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Yeah that's a fair rating for the product. 'Bleed' and 'Warmspot' are standing out for me on the Clanton. Was thinking of putting up a 'Top Songs of 2015' list today to give a good gap for the Best Albums one but then you hear a really interesting album like this one...
    November 16 11:05 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I didn't rate what I heard, it's a joke and pretty invasive. Listening to the Potsy George Clanton rec, have you heard it? Pretty sure you'll at least enjoy some of it, esp as you like the Gunship
    November 16 10:39 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Did you listen to all the Montage of Heck album? Couldn't bring myself to
    November 16 10:17 AM
  • SachikoM Well, fair enough, I guess. Still find it kinda baffling. Have you listened to Hailee Steinfeld's single (Love Myself)?
    November 14 06:09 AM
  • SachikoM What? You can't deny he is technically skilled voice-wise. You have to at least grant him that.
    November 14 05:37 AM
  • SachikoM Wow, really? Weird. What do you find so repulsive about them?
    November 14 05:22 AM
  • SachikoM You didn't like anything off the new one? It has some SOTY contenders imo.
    November 14 03:55 AM
  • SachikoM So you really hate JB, huh?
    November 14 03:38 AM
  • Artuma can't rn. around 4 perhaps
    November 8 07:38 AM
  • SachikoM good excuse... that's probably a good idea tho, vegan's queuing all of his videos atm.
    November 7 05:48 PM
  • SachikoM did my s***ty trap scare you off??? ;_;
    November 7 05:37 PM
  • CalculatingInfinity Dubtrack?
    November 7 08:45 AM
  • DoofusWainwright The new FJM is so good live, he clearly had a performance style in mind for each song. The stuff off the debut album bar Hollywood and Novel were totally flat in comparison. He still had to play most of the first album because he hasn't got a lot of songs to choose from it you could tell he's moved on from them.
    November 4 05:06 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I'm lucky in that my girl has grown to love the same music, the last week I've seen Father John Misty and Destroyer (she worships kaputt) with her, next up are Deerhunter on Saturday. But she prefers it when the music thing is an inclusive obsession and I have to remember to be disciplined and respect that which isn't always easy lol
    November 4 04:05 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Ed I'm guessing even if you don't dig Young Gods whole sound on 'Only Heaven' seeing as you dig a bit of prog and retro electro you'll like little bits and pieces. Still want to check out dubtrack one evening, it's just living with someone else makes it tough to put on a pair of headphones.
    November 4 03:51 AM
  • SachikoM Alright, sorry for the slow response, I was in the shower.
    November 4 03:11 AM
  • Sinternet Yeah dude checket it was great. Eternity is one hell of a track - I should probably look for more PWYW stuff, never really explored bandcamp much.
    October 30 08:49 PM
  • Artuma gotta love those harmonies. the singer doesn't really convince me but otherwise i dug the song
    October 30 10:37 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity It's not whether I'll be fine, it's that you and Sach bring some cool stuff to the room and I'll be sad if you go due to the bombardment of metal.
    October 29 01:30 PM
  • Mort. ah fair enough tbh. i do try to play the less heavy stuff when im in their but my playlist is still in its infancy
    October 29 10:37 AM
  • Mort. "It's just that guys Hovse and Mort etc. are starting to use the room a lot. Usually it's only methul in the room now. SachM and I are not that interested to discuss why Ulver is the greatest band on planet earth" - bruh i dont even like much metal and im barely in the room
    October 29 10:09 AM
  • CalculatingInfinity Just saw the chat with Sach, what's happened to Dub while I've been busy?
    October 29 09:07 AM
  • SachikoM Maddening. I don't want to go in there to hear ****ing opeth and s***ty death metal. Hell, my taste is pretty alienable, but I at least try to accommodate those who don't like noise and whatnot (I do jam other stuff), but the metalheads.... Ugh. RIP dub, 2015-2015.
    October 29 05:56 AM
  • SachikoM did anybody tell the metalheads about dub, or did they just find their own way there?
    October 29 04:05 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Nice rating for the new Neon Indian Ed and yeah I remember Crazy Town
    October 27 11:44 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Haven't listened to it yet Ed, had a feeling it wouldn't gel into one satisfying album. It was never going to be half as good as a National album. There must be at least 3 or 4 decent tunes on there though?
    October 24 05:14 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Ed just missed your message last night, I'll drop in at that sort of time another night and check it out
    October 9 04:13 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Been spinning Jakob 'Solace' for the first time while doing the list, doesn't fall into the post-rock trap of lacking energy, like it a lot
    October 8 12:28 PM
  • SachikoM K, it's all kinda perplexing.
    October 7 06:44 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Cheers Ed, just set up a dubtrack account, is their a permanent Sput channel?
    October 7 04:17 AM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID Thanks Ed, I do something like that already--just not on Sputnik, lol. It's on RYM. Check it out if your interested:https://rateyourmusic.com/list/TwigTW/2015__my_favorites__so_far/
    October 6 07:37 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Monomania grew on me a lot and I've got it 4'd so I'm feeling this will live up to that esp if snakeskin is the weakest tune on it. Watching them live changed everything for me with this band and is why I'm close to fanboy levels with them. Live they are guitar overload and trippy, some of the stuff they played from Halcyon they played with near metal intensity, just brilliant stuff. One of the best new guitar bands out there and definitely one of the best live bands I've seen
    October 6 06:50 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Haven't listened to it yet apart from the one song which sounded promising, is it streaming somewhere? Have you ever seen Deerhunter live?
    October 6 06:24 AM
  • SachikoM Black thread it is then. I know what you're saying with the Sachiko and WCPC reviews (although, as far as feedback goes, very few people had issue with either of them, rather than issue with the music they were associated with), so a change of pace is probably a good idea. I still want to raise awareness for that kind of music, so I may review them later, but a break in between will be good. Thanks for the help. Now to see if I can conjure the words to write a half-decent review.
    October 4 05:58 AM
  • SachikoM Thanks, i appreciate it.
    October 4 05:38 AM
  • SachikoM Let's face it, I'm not the best user. I'm fussing over a bunch of albums that I want to review, but I can't really pick one because I'm worried I won't do it justice. If you could make the decision for me, it would be much appreciated. I'm running around in circles at this point. The albums in question are: plague mother - obsessions, black thread - meadowlark (premonition), bedhead - WhatFunLifeWas, and Eliane Radigue - trilogie de la mort. Thanks in advance, I guess.
    October 4 05:35 AM
  • SachikoM Aside from being a terrible user, I have horrendous writer's block atm. I need something to snap me out of it.
    October 4 05:30 AM
  • SachikoM Can you help me out?
    October 4 05:20 AM
  • DoofusWainwright Enjoying the Big Blood, I find the vocals a little intense across an entire album but every other element is near perfect
    October 1 05:51 AM
  • Cygnatti lol nahhhhhh
    September 29 01:09 PM
  • SachikoM Not everything I listen to is noise/onkyo/unlistenable-trash.
    September 28 04:47 AM
  • SachikoM No actually. I'll def check it out, thanks for the rec. In return, I'll rec you Tomoyoshi Date - Otoha. It is really mellow minimalist piano with a bit of Japanese folk influence and the odd field recording here or there. Really nice stuff. You can sample one of the songs here (and don't worry, this is actually listenable): https://ownrecords.bandcamp.com/album/otoha
    September 28 04:26 AM
  • Marinatchae I'm not joking. Stop following me around in threads to be a dismissive ****. K?
    September 23 04:09 PM
  • Marinatchae You and I are about to have a problem.
    September 23 04:06 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot hmm. yea I guess I don't know what sorta hip hop u like. Lil Ugly Mane is a great producer tho, so I'm sure you'll appreciate that aspect
    September 10 08:14 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot check Trick Dice
    September 10 08:06 AM
  • SmileNerd One'd most of the Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, Big Time Rush, etc etc albums.
    September 9 04:16 PM
  • SmileNerd Yeah, I had 1,000 ratings but then I got wiped... lol
    September 9 11:36 AM
  • SmileNerd Hey man, you have some cool ratings.
    September 9 10:42 AM
  • skeames1214 Will do! Always lookin for some sleepy time music
    September 4 10:59 AM

    August 30 11:17 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot you might fuk with this Ariadne thing
    August 30 10:20 AM
  • LordePots hmm, maybe i will check it out then. and yeah off the top of my head you might like Alice Russel, Fatima, Fae Simon, jill scott, The internet, sylvan esso, ego ella may, neneh cherry, theesatisfaction, lizz fields
    August 23 04:25 PM
  • LordePots i havent no. i thought What We Must was super overrated so i didnt really think to bother with the new one
    August 22 03:19 PM
  • JamieTwort Ah right, good luck with those. The one good thing about studying is being able to listen to music almost constantly. Working full time it's hard to find the time to listen to as much music as I'd like sometimes.
    July 25 03:59 AM
  • JamieTwort Hey man, good thanks, how're things with you? Never heard of him but I'll be sure to check out his new one, thanks.
    July 25 03:41 AM
  • LambsBread Whether or not that is a rational belief, the reality is it is much harder to pass a program like this in the US than in Germany, because people here feel they are being taxed to much AND its impossible to get democrats and republicans to agree on what to cut. I imagine the political situation in germany is not as hostile, but im not sure. I don't know a ton about Germany, so I could be wrong about all this, but this is my opinion as of now.
    July 9 02:57 PM
  • LambsBread I think thats where we agree. I'm not against taxpayer funded higher education. But I think it makes more sense for the states to do it. The biggest reason is there is definitely an unwillingness to have a welfare state and/or taxpayer higher education in the US, by a huge portion of the population.
    July 9 02:54 PM
  • There's more to the practicality of having a welfare state and taxpayer-funded higher-education than the needy people:wealthy people ratio though. The US having 300 million people to account for, across such a ridiculous amount of territory (that includes Alaska and Hawaii), makes the logistics and information gathering of a welfare programs more costly and less effective.
    July 8 09:11 PM
  • LambsBread that's surprising, but I still imagine the number of people at retirement age or older is substantially greater in the US, because of it being 4x bigger in population, and because of the baby boom phenomenon, which I don't think had the same affect on Germany, who had many more casualties in WW2.
    July 8 03:51 PM
  • LivingThrowaway If you want to get wrecked:- mo*te (peaceful new world) - pedestrian deposit (fatale)- machismo (severe disconnect), again this one is power electronics, albeit a lot harsher than ramleh.
    July 5 08:41 AM
  • LivingThrowaway If you want easy entry to noise:- vomir and tanner garza (give up the ghost)- Kevin Drumm (sheer hellish miasma or relief)- ramleh (hole in the heart) although it's not noise, but more related to power electronics and death industrial
    July 5 08:39 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot I rec this Dudal album tbh, you'd def like a bit
    June 30 08:54 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot realllly don't like their sound on he new one. i'll give it another go this week and maybe change my mind but i found it hard to enjoy
    June 30 07:57 AM
  • Keyblade ah sweet, no prob man. been trying to get people to hear it for years now with little luck. the tournament is a good platform. glad you enjoyed it
    June 22 09:16 AM
  • Artuma do whatever you want
    June 14 10:27 AM
  • Artuma mostly kid a, yhf and la dispute. sunbather gets so much flak i don't even mind about that, never even heard living as ghosts
    June 14 10:14 AM
  • Artuma dude you have a decent taste in indie but looking at your 2's makes me pretty sad
    June 14 09:46 AM
  • DoofusWainwright The production on Elephant Riders will probably be a big turn off but worth checking out for the songwriting. The first half of Pure Rock Fury is immense, I'm not sure if that's one of their last 5!
    June 12 05:03 AM
  • DoofusWainwright I'll check it out Ed, I've listened to a bit of TA before, I don't listen to too much punk but I definitely prefer retro influences with that genre to the usual punk pop stuff ;)Have you listened to all the Clutch discog?
    June 12 04:50 AM
  • ComeToDaddy I actually did listen to the Battisti once, I simply don't rate things unless I've digested it and that's a totally new style for me. I enjoyed it, but it was also very foreign to my ears, and I'm in the middle of exams now so I don't want to jam too much music that'll confuse me ;) and yeah, that new TA is great. The run from Fired Up to A More Perfect is absolutely killer
    June 11 07:41 PM
  • adr Radiohead Kid A 2.0 smh boy
    June 11 11:44 AM
  • Artuma no wonder haha, it's so amazing
    June 11 05:54 AM
  • Artuma it's ridiculously good i know
    June 11 05:41 AM
  • Cygnatti could be a very honest 3.5 but i'm having some reservations...
    May 9 12:44 PM
  • Cygnatti how very very intriguing. i'll look into it.
    May 8 11:52 PM
  • Piripichotes Love you too man
    May 6 04:22 AM
  • Frippertronics okay here's a fixed link http://goo.gl/7VHFbQ
    May 6 02:30 AM
  • Frippertronics her whole discog can be found through this. I'd suggest using rbt as an alternative to any downloads, as the archives which has many links. http://rbt.asia/mu/?task=search
    May 6 01:58 AM
  • Ryus haha yes agreed hard. shocked at all the positive ratings here (but not that shocked since everyone is obsessed with porcupine tree)
    April 13 04:01 PM
  • JamieTwort Agreed with your first statement but not with the second. I was a bit disappointed at first cos it didn't hit me like his singer/songwriter based stuff but repeated listens are starting to prove it's true beauty. Glad you liked Polyhedrons though.
    April 13 11:52 AM
  • JamieTwort I'll check it right now.
    April 2 02:56 PM
  • JamieTwort Nice, sounds good. At this stage in his career I'd definitely rather hear him pushing himself a bit more than doing another Wild Hunt/Dylan-esque album.
    April 2 12:42 PM
  • JamieTwort No I haven't, didn't know it had leaked. Have you listened yet? I might check it soon or I might just wait for the actual release (I don't usually bother with leaks).
    April 2 11:34 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot sure, I'll look in a bit when I'm at a comp
    April 2 10:16 AM
  • SowingSeason Very gracious of you to offer but no thanks...I also kind of like to wait until I can buy the CD for my favorite artists, before I even stream or anything. I don't know how, it just seems to make it sound better that first time. But yeah, most of my reasons are out of not wanting to get caught. I mean most people could download like 5 albums a day for their entire life and not be confronted, but at the same time you could DL one song and face huge fines and prison. Just not worth the chance.
    April 2 09:49 AM
  • SowingSeason I'm dying to but I don't do leaks :(
    April 2 03:45 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeh man give it a chance, honestly loved it
    March 31 02:02 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot my backlog is like a mile long ffs, lol. lots of stuff on the back burner. on another note...: https://eileanrec.bandcamp.com/album/pleasurably-lost :keep an eye out for this bad boy
    March 31 01:55 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeah, pots recced it to me a little while ago, will check at some time for sure
    March 31 01:46 PM
  • Keyblade thanks bro, agreed. it's like one of the only albums I heard this year but it's amazing
    March 27 01:40 PM
  • Torontonian you were right about the new bjork btw, it really was mediocre. You dig Portishead?
    March 26 06:07 PM
  • Torontonian sup, couldn't into that harmonium album unfortunately. I dunno man, it just didn't really grab me at all both times i heard it. :( appreciate the rec tho!
    March 26 06:04 PM
  • EvijaJumeja lol 4.0 for Junip :D
    March 25 04:31 PM
  • klap haha, trying to recover in time to get around to Go! Team for tomorrow
    March 23 04:02 PM
  • klap i will grab it. yeah my friends and i go every year for march madness
    March 23 03:37 PM
  • klap hey man, actually haven't heard it. I was in Vegas since Thursday and just got back last night so sort of out of it. Haven't been a huge fan of her stuff in the past but I'll check it out if you support it
    March 23 03:07 PM
  • Flugmorph yeah man dm is ****in weird haha
    March 22 12:35 PM
  • Flugmorph i actually didn't listen to anything from it so far lol. its a shame but i didn't needed it so much since my downphase was kinda over soon after. im binging through death metal atm so im kinda not in need for happy stuff. i will return to the list as soon as i need stuff like it tho.
    March 22 10:00 AM
  • SowingSeason That and I work a night shift, and at this moment I'm going on 32 hours w/o sleep
    March 22 04:36 AM
  • SowingSeason I actually changed my vote I don't know what I was thinking...I;m very tired and I think I thought Insurrection was Crysis for some reason my goodness
    March 22 04:31 AM
  • SowingSeason Sorry bro, I've got your back if you make it to the next round!
    March 22 04:27 AM
  • Torontonian ya, i've heard mixed things about the new one. haven't heard it myself so i can't opine yet. Homogenic is like my fave album ever, give it another chance one day if you feel up to it, i'm a pretty bias opinion of coarse tho hehe.
    March 17 03:56 PM
  • Torontonian sup ed, haven't gotten to your rec yet but i promise i'll give it a go sometime this week. Do you like bjork btw?
    March 16 08:34 PM
  • Rev i've been on here for like seven years, it was just kind of time for me to move on. plus i put most of my social media time into twitter so i just don't really have time to keep up with sputnik anymore. miss you tho!
    March 16 01:44 PM
  • LordePots thank you man! thanks for listening and im glad you enjoyed
    March 15 11:18 PM
  • wtferrothorn Congrats on 1000 ratings man!
    March 15 09:46 PM
  • Rev not really haha. i'll drop by once a month to see if i missed any records, but i hardly want anything to with the community here anymore tbh
    March 15 05:11 PM
  • JamieTwort Cool, I'm often a bit hesitant about lesser-known prog these days as I've found that very few 'obscure' prog rock albums (even those that are well loved on here) come anywhere near the quality of the big prog bands.
    March 15 11:25 AM
  • JamieTwort No I haven't, you think I'd dig?
    March 15 11:16 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeah man I'll check that list
    March 15 11:13 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot tbh I don't really care about the review score lol, in many cases I wish I could leave it blank. I know some people are bound to like it more than others, and I usually just give it a score based on how much I enjoy it
    March 15 11:13 AM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot ayy, idk if review feedback is your kinda bag, but do you have any negative criticism for that last rev by any chance? jw
    March 15 10:56 AM
  • Torontonian cheers man thanks for the rec.
    March 8 05:05 PM
  • Silvius while solace is a strong 3.5 and i think i'll eventually raise it to 4, it just doesn't compare to mogwai in terms of scope, variation or fancy-schmancy subtlety. also, happy songs makes me grin like an oaf http://youtu.be/ztP-WK44BqY it's 4.5 material
    March 8 03:35 PM
  • Silvius nah brah. my ratings are pretty much completely based on personal appreciation and not on objective quality or general cosmic significance or something
    March 8 03:28 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeah on the fence haha. I need a couple more listens
    March 8 10:28 AM
  • Torontonian Also u should make it ur 1000th rating ;)
    March 8 08:38 AM
  • Torontonian Np man!! Glad u liked! That's what the site is all about
    March 8 08:37 AM
  • Artuma well i dl'd the leaked new mm but it was a joke taylor swift album so i'm gonna wait for the actual release. the singles weren't promising tho. also i don't jam sufjan that much
    March 7 05:58 PM
  • JamieTwort I intend to post a review for that Jasmine Guffond album soon.
    March 7 04:48 PM
  • michaelmyerstbh HAHAHAHA he gets it, good man
    March 7 04:05 PM
  • LordePots did it leak?
    March 7 03:14 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot listening now actually. i like it, but there's no many skippable tracks for me. i'll have to revisit this album tho, i feel some of the catchier tracks will grow on me a lot
    March 7 02:43 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot wish i liked new MM though. a couple solid tracks but idk
    March 7 02:37 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot I've had a couple people twist my arm about that 3.5. but nah... these lyrics are excellent, and I'm feeling this more than Adz. **** it, I'll bump it
    March 7 02:33 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot I'm gonna bump it to a 4 after another spin probably. and nah man I'm up to my nuts with albums to check, but I will
    March 7 02:29 PM
  • JamieTwort Yeah man, might actually be my favourite album of 2015 so far.
    March 5 02:34 PM
  • Mongi123 Haha I wouldn't say I'm at an overwhelming 10 right now but yea I'm pretty excited. Prob 7 :D I'm really starting to get into them.
    March 5 02:25 PM

    February 25 01:41 PM
  • DaveyBoy No, but its one of only a handful of 2015 LPs that I do want to listen to. The problem is time, coz Ive yet to hear their other LPs in full and Im a bit fussy in liking to do so. I had no idea this is their 8th
    February 22 06:21 AM
  • DaveyBoy Ahhh, just looked it up. Clearly, I use a couple of others.
    February 22 03:15 AM

    February 10 01:38 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeah i think i added his new one to the database. but yeah he's nice, been meaning to explore his back catalogue
    February 10 01:36 PM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID Best thing he's done in 30 years, right up there with the Berlin albums. I'd still put Scary Monsters ahead of it--but it's almost a tie, 4.2 and 4.4
    February 9 12:04 PM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID Yeah, Ziggy Stardust is brilliant too, and Hunky Dory. He put out a classic album almost every year in the 70s. Any of them could be a favorite . . . Bowie asked Elvis Presley to record Golden Years with him, but Elvis said no. Try to imagine what that would have sounded like!? I can't even imagine it.
    February 9 11:42 AM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID I go back and forth between Low and Station To Station . . . Yours?
    February 9 11:10 AM
  • Artuma lampshades was ok but i was a little disappointed by it
    February 8 04:01 AM
  • Artuma coyotes ruled, the other two not so much. i'm afraid this is gonna be their weakest album so far
    February 8 03:47 AM
  • Artuma nice. haven't been listening to british indie in a while
    February 8 03:44 AM
  • Artuma oh yeah have forgot about that band
    February 8 03:41 AM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID Agreed, too short is always better than too long.
    February 7 09:56 PM
  • TWIGtheWONDERKID And that's just since I started scrobbling . . . I like your Mondo Drag rating. I'm heading for a 4 myself. I just wish the album was a little longer.
    February 7 12:32 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot yeah it's pretty spread out and sparse
    February 5 01:31 PM
  • JohnnyOnTheSpot you might kinda enjoy this Masaya Ozaki album
    February 5 01:05 PM
  • LordePots ok i will do just that. deffs nacho at his sleaziest but his flow is about the same as ever for me. there are a couple stand out beats that are really fantastic but a large number of them i found really boring as well. Love the beat for Money tho a tonne.
    February 4 03:45 AM
  • LordePots its certainly not the highlight of their career together although i still really like a couple of the beats, enough to warrant a 3 (which as im sure you know i dont really consider a very positive rating). disappointment of the year so far. and because ive never listened to a full kraftwerk album, just heard songs here and there
    February 3 05:24 PM
  • Hurricanslash You mean that one comment I made? Because everything afterwards was just a little personal fight with Potsy. I always fight with him like that when we bitch at each other.
    February 3 07:56 AM
  • Artuma okay. i'll listen to the latest one first
    January 29 03:38 AM

  • Brostep eh whatevs, still gonna be killer hopefully. thanks for the link!
    January 12 06:43 PM
  • JamieTwort He's one of my favourite artists. Check out his album "Lasted", my personal favourite of his.
    January 9 08:19 AM
  • JamieTwort Nice, glad you liked it so much. Are you familiar with Benoit Pioulard's other stuff? It's even better than what he does with Orcas.
    January 9 04:25 AM
  • Brostep I'd def agree with that score. Goldfish is a great song but nothing stacks up to songs 2 through 4 of the first one. they have an album coming out early this year though aaaaaaaa (either January or March, I forget)
    January 4 11:55 AM

    October 22 06:04 AM
  • twlichty well the way i left wasnt good, i left on bad terms and they all pretty much hate me now. i was immature and made a mistake, but we all learn over time i suppose. i actually hit them up about 6 months ago to try to reconcile, but they arent having it. i have started to get on good terms with the drummer again (him and i started the band) so thats a good step in the right direction. i would like to work with them again some time in the future....
