Blood Red Shoes are a Brighton based duo consisting of Laura-Mary Carter (vocals/guitar) and Steven Ansell (vocals/drums). They formed the band in 2005, releasing a string of singles, and eventually a debut album in 2008, titled Box Of Secrets. The record was acclaimed by both critics and fans, and they followed it up in 2010 with Fire Like This, which maintained the same sound while expanding on the basic template many of their songs kept to. The duo then released their third LP 'In Time to Voices' in March of 2012.
