MOTLEY CRUE
Vince Neil
Mick mars
Nikki Sixx
Tommy Lee
Motley Crue was the Rolling Stones of The 1980’s.
Their debut Too fast For Love showed people what they were capable of with songs like Livewire, Merry Go Round, and Take me to the top. A lot of people thought of Motley crue as a joke. Then in one glorious day in 1983 Shout at the Devil. This album is the lat Crue album I was really interested in but its a great record. It combines:
-Shock
-Goth
-Speed
-Glam
and punk all together and it when it comes out of your stereo the only way to
define it is as MOTLEY CRUE.
TRACK BY TRACK
1.In The Beginning: This is just the intro for Shout at the Devil. I think Mick is doing the narration.
I can’t really rate this because its not really a song, but a good intro.
2.Shout at the devil: The title track and one of Motley Crue’s most famous tracks. The song has one of the most memorable riffs in rock n roll. The song as it says in the CD booklet is actually an anti-Satan song or as Vince says it is. The solo is pretty cool and the drums are top notch. 5/5
3.Looks that Kill: This song is the most successful single off of this record. The lyrics have always annoyed me but if you get the ReMastered CD wait until you hear the demo. The drums are cool and the solo is one of Mick’s best off of the record. 4/5
4.Bastard: This is one of my favorite songs off of the record and it is very underrated in my opinion. The song was on the P.M.R.C.’s list because its pretty obvious its about anal rape. the riff is awesome and the solo is kickass. Once again Tommy lee shines but don’t forget Nikki Sixx wrote all of these. One of the best one the record. 5/5
5.God Bless the Children of the Beast: This is an instrumental containing some cool guitar work from Mick Mars. The have a choir sing the title at the end. 5/5
6.Helter Skelter: This of course is a Beatles cover and its a pretty good cover. You can’t understand a word Vince says though but other than that great cover. 4/5
7.Red Hot: This is my favorite off of the record. Its sort of reminiscing to Queensryche’s The Needle Lies from Operation Mind Crime. Some cool double bass. The chorus is very catchy. Again pretty Underrated 5/5
8.Too Young Too fall In Love: Another hit off of the record. This was the first Crue song I had ever heard. The video is totally Cur check it out. The solo and riff is killer and it definitely has a hook. 5/5
9.Knock em Dead Kid: I was never much for this song in my opinion its the worst off the record. But its not all bad, still check it out. 3/5
10.Ten Seconds Till Love: I love this song. Its sort of punk and it has attitude. The breakdown toward the end is awesome. Good bass and good vocals. The Band really shines on here. 5/5
11.Danger: This is also a pretty underrated track. Great closer for the album. Not a ballad but really mellow for a while and it grows. classic Crue! 5/5

This sounds more like you're just BSing with a buddy about an album you both know really well. There isn't any description here at all. Quote:

Why? Because they're both the fastest songs on their respective albums? Other then that, not at all.

I lawled, though with a tad of guilt.
This review is the worst/funniest review I've read yet. Congratulations. Please don't stop writing like this, seriously.

Knock em dead kid is one of my favorite songs on the record! Ten seconds would be my least favorite to be honest. Just Ignore the wankers here, Your review isn't too flash, but its not as bad as these guys make it out to be, good try anyways.
