Review Summary: A crash course in Blacklisted’s live shows, Live From Nowhere, USA is a genuine example of the raw energy that is their performance. Boasting a selection of some of their greatest songs at the time of recording (along with a cover) it is a 7" well worth

Blacklisted’s newest release since their first full length, Live From Nowhere USA is a blistering attack on the ears. Featuring seven tracks taken from EP’s, splits, compilations and even one cover never before released. For a live album released on such a low budget and small record label Live From Nowhere USA exhibits excellent quality, all though don’t expect any cleaned up high budget release. Throughout the album you get to hear the creative intros and unique expressions used during their live shows.

The album starts off with Nowhere USA from their split with First Blood released on their current label, Deathwish Records. Hard hitting from the start the band plunges into their first song of the set. The raspy yet well controlled vocals of George heard over everything with clarity almost as good as their studio albums. The one thing you will notice on this record is that it exhibits their live show very well including stage banter and sing-alongs (albeit not the best quality). Moving quickly into the epitome of Blacklisted’s song Eye For An Eye one can almost feel like they’re at the show. The rest of the album moves quickly through the songs demonstrating a sense of honesty, truth and sincerity. Be sure to pick up the original recordings for a heavy beat that will get you moving during their next tour. Moving onto the final track, a cover by Life of Agony, while a great song and excellent performance leaves a little bit desired in the vocals due to the inability to hit the high notes set fourth in the original recording. Any fan of Life of Agony is sure to appreciate this cover and a band that can take such an influence from them.
