Review Summary: This short blast of pop-punk will be one of the catchiest things you will hear.

Hellogoodbye is a power pop band from Huntington Beach, California. They got signed to Drive-Thru Records in 2004 and released this free EP called "Mush Slowly and Guac" which was originally only available at their concerts. Musically, Hellogoodbye plays a quirky, upbeat style of power pop in the vein of Weezer and The Get Up Kids. I was first introduced to their song "Call N Return" through the snowboarding game "Amped 3". I noticed that the song's main keyboard riff was very catchy, and decided to check the EP out. Forrest Kline sings in a bright and lush voice that blends in perfectly with the new wave music that the band is known for playing. "Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn" and "Jesse Buy Nothing" are bound to get stuck in your head after hearing them. This is a very summery album, and is predictive of the band's sound in the future.

"Call N Return" is easily the best song on here.
