Review Summary: ' Onirophagus' bring a full-flavored new in enjoy the music of collaboration with death-doom combined with style more modern so that sounded more simple and simple to be enjoyed. It is also hackle a view that style death-doom is style music very difficult

1 of 1 thought this review was well written

All songs on this album have a very strong element of doom, though sometimes the sub genre of deathmetal is still rare, especially bands that actually total plays doom. The Giants Doom , Asphyx not total plays doom, many still play thrashy elements and Oldschool on his music, perhaps the death-doom band from Japan 'Coffins' is the most prominent in this year's pure Death doom in the new album's release last July. But if you listen to what is being offered ' Onirophagus ' on the first full length album, we are reminded of the early albums of ' Paradise Lost ' or ' My Dying bride ' a lot of play style is pure death-doom, although bands turned their musical style on their next album. A few Deathmetal Riffs like ' Autopsy ' and ' Supuration ' also in this album.

Prehuman has 7 long Tracks, only song 'Aeger' has a duration of 2 minutes more, while other songs have a duration of 7 to 8 minutes. From musical structure on this album, they always put the elements of doom at the start of the track and the element of death more dominant by the middle of the track. They also included the brutal elements in some of their songs. ' Onirophagus ' successfully balancing the elements of doom and death in every track. And because of that, we consider they are playing Death-Doom well.

Although collaboration 'death-doom' many accompaniment all track in this album, if heardit several times, deeply felt more to deathmetal, because we think that sound are very needed here, maybe Onirophagus' try something else, with many enter element sound more modern into this album so what is expected heard sound raw impressed noisy typical death doom cannot be felt in album this.

'Onirophagus' is still relatively new in the metal scene. Formed in 2011, and released the Ep that many well received in 2012. 'Onirophagus' formed in Barcelona, Spain. Album 'Prehuman' was released on 1 September 2013 through the label Xtreem Music Records'.

In conclusion that. ' Onirophagus' bring a full-flavored new in enjoy the music of collaboration with death-doom combined with style more modern so that sounded more simple and simple to be enjoyed. It is also hackle a view that style death-doom is style music very difficult to enjoyment. But ' onirophagus' bring death doom in more directions innovative and could be enjoyed by the fans metal in general.

A lot easier on the eyes than your last review, but Google Translate usually doesn't do a perfect job of translating to perfect English.
