Review Summary: In 3-D is an excellent record. It shows that a comedy album..could show a lot of talents and overall enjoyment that this album brings. I would definitely recommend it.
Weird Al Yankovic is an music icon. His parodies has been considered genius and unique and will live on from generation to generation.
Weird Al's second album called In 3-D was breakthrough album with singles like Eat It and I Lost On Jeapordy. This album shows a lot of his vocal talents and great accordion playing. I've always respected his music. He makes the songs his own and adds a different flavor to it which makes it enjoyable.
In 3-D has a great 80's vibe to it. He was actually paroding good songs but making them better. He also has originals on this album and that's kinda rare. The originals are fantastic especially songs like Midnight Star and Nature Trail To Hell. The band also delivers. They are talented and underrated in my opinion and always a joy to hear them play.
Weird Al Yankovic's In 3-D is one of the best comedy albums around it has combines great lyrics, production and overall musicianship. The creativity of the album is fantastic. I never get tiring of listening to it. No matter how repetitive it could sound. Overall it's a classic cause of brilliant these parodies. They are very catchy and funny.
The songs i love on this album are Eat It. Which is probably the most popular song of his. It's very catchy and it's a parody of Eat It by Michael Jackson. I Lost On Jeopardy is also one of my favorites. It's about him failing bad on the popular game show Jeopardy. Very creative song and always fun to listen too. Polkas On 45 is one of my favorites. It's a polka medley of all these classic songs. Rye or the Kaiser is definitely one of my favorites. It's so damn catchy and always a joy to hear it time again. My overall favorite song is Nature Trail To Hell. Which is not a parody. Believe or not. This song is absolutely genius. It's so unique, great instrumentation and the lyrics are genius. It's gives out a great 80's vibe and it's also pretty spooky. It fits perfectly for the decade.
