There are many words that you could use to describe the Wu-Tang Clan. "Hardcore", "Intelligent", and "Swagged-out" come to mind often. In 1992, RZA took 8 then-unknown hip-hop stars all from New York and made magic together. The opener "Bring Da Ruckus", showcases a hardcore beat and lyrics like "I blow sparks like Waco, Texas." The Wu-Tang have incredible chemistry together, as RZA, GZA, Raekwon, amongst others, deliver verses that are still quoted today in hip-hop. C.R.E.A.M. sparked the popular catch phrase "Cash rules everything around me." Ol' Dirty Bastard showed his drunken rapping style throughout the album. In my opinion, he's my favourite Wu-Tang member, although all the members are great. This album was influential to almost every rapper, and it's absolutely one you should pick up.
