This album would have to be my fourth favourite metallica album.
1. That Was Just Your Life: This song is bad ass. The heart beat at the beginning of the song just makes your heart rate go up, then the riff kicks in and you get an adrenaline rush. The vocals in this song are phenomenal and James does a great job of presenting them. 10/10
2. The End of the Line: Again, another kick ass intro. The lyrics again are solid. 8/10
3. Broken Beat and Scarred: Lyrics are amazing, maybe even one of the best that James has ever written, they are so deep and have a lot of meaning. Guitar sound is genius, and I just love how this song sounds. 9/10
4. The Day that Never Comes: The Fade to Black style song from Death Magnetic does not dissapoint as it is one of the best ballads out there. You really feel for the guy that the lyrics are written for. It is a song about bullying and what the effects are on people. 8/10
5. All Nightmare Long: This also has a good intro, and good lyrics, a nice long good solo in the middle and a kick ass chorus and you get All Nightmare Long. 8/10
6. Cyanide: My second favourite song on this album, James's voice is so perfectly pitched for this song and it gives me chills everytime he says "Empty they say". 10/10
7. Unforgiven III: The intro to this song brings me to tears, and I have to think of the fact that James is playing this, which makes me like him even more. A good conclusion to the Unforgiven trilogy. 7/10
The Judas Kiss: Sounds kind of happy, but not that great of a song. 6/10
Suicide and Redemption: Again this song is not that great, it is a combination of all the riffs that didn't fit into any of the other songs. Sure it might be long, but it is a good song, but lyrics would have been nice. 6/10
My Apocalypse: This is the way that every band should close out there albums. After 6 amazing songs, then three not so good songs, My Apocolypse delivers a kick ass in your face kind of message. The guitars sound great while shredding. 9/10 This is a great metallica album, and if you don't already own it, I suggest you goto the store and buy it right now, cause you won't regret it

Also, as actual criticism, you should space out the tracks. Kind of a challenged to read.

Seriously, this album is not interesting enough to warrant 16 reviews!

Sorry, bro, but this review is terrible, it looks like an iTunes review. Track-by-tracks are frowned upon around here, especially when all you say for every song is "good intro, good lyrics, awesome solo". This tells me absolutely nothing about the album at all.

Another f*****g Death Magnetic review? *sigh* The fact that this album has had twenty-billion reviews already is reason enough to make me neg this.

But, let's be fair- onto the review itself.

It's truly dreadful. As "tiesthatbind" mentioned, you say nothing about the music; plus you really need some paragraphs. Perhaps some information as well wouldn't hurt, uhm. . .

I always want to give constructive criticism, but I'm simply lost for words. I'm sure it's unfair to neg people upon their first review, but I'll have to make an exception here. Taking this review at face value, there's nothing redeeming about it.

the amount of reviews that an album has doesn't warrant an auto neg at all.

Best song and catchiest song would be All nightmare Long but then again, it would probably be the most sickening. Weakest track is the instrumental, it doesn't even touch Orion and nowhere near as good as The Call of Ktulu.
