7 of 8 thought this review was well written

Year of the Rabbit may well only be two songs, but if we lay the facts out on the table then you realise that this is more than just two songs. It's two fucking awesome songs which is way better. Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) may have a stupid name (in fact in a recent survey 9 out of 10 people said they do), but at the end of the day it's the music that counts. The band play a strain of indie/emo we've all heard before through artists like the Mike Kinsella's American Football, but to give credit where it's due they do it well, really well. In fact I'd say they're the crown fucking jewels of the genre if only to get you to check them out. Instrumentally, the band has a very clean sound; particularly the guitar which is subtly technical in style, whilst vocally it could almost be Kinsella crooning along the way the smooth vocals become almost another instrument as they weave and intermingle with the music. Basically you need this.

Idk why this created a new album when I submitted the review but whatever. I've asked the mods to see to it.

Check this out.

Anyone else think the title-track sounds exactly like Better Half by The Get Up Kids

Never jammed this band. Probably should considering how much emo I listen to.

You can tell when this EP was written because the title of the second song is a reference to an AT&T commercial from 2007.

@Futures: These guys are amazing, check out What It Takes to Move Forward first, you'll get hooked on it very easily.
