  • MisterTornado I liked your interpretation of Bob in the Twin Peaks thread, I think your pretty spot on there.

  • MisterTornado Again, that could be seen as positive (staying relevant and constantly digging up new and unheard sounds) but it can also be seen as a rejection of the past (ignorantly living inside what's relevant now). Perhaps I'm over-thinking it but I'm up and down on the idea.

  • MisterTornado Haha, it's quite a lovely place (you can bring your cigs and juice too ~). I mean mostly from the addictive element (which has its positives) but also leads to some negative effects like being compelled to listen to music that doesn't particularly interest me for the sake of canon (although I'm getting better about that). It can also lead to a kind of distorted view point, like where I'm at now with strictly listening to new music instead of branching out to past sounds.

  • MisterTornado Mhm I like that idea of prescient with these old minds having this magnificent foresight into where we're at today. I still need to check out Adorno, I'll do so after I read Visions. I agree, although I think it has its share of negative effects as well which interests me. Mhm definitely, I'll let you know. Ugh yes, the Ju Sei collab is bats***. I love it.
