	Barren Earth Curse Of The Red River A great Progressive Death Metal album with Folk and Doom overtones. From a band with members from Amorphis, Moonsorrow and Swallow the Sun you can certainly expect something enjoyable. And those expectations have been more than widely fulfilled. Great riffs, melancholic vocals, soothing keyboard melodies and folky interludes are present throughout the entire album, accompanied by a splendid production from the one and only Dan Swano, which guarantees for a crystal clear sound . Everyone who's stoked on Opeth, Amorphis and Swallow The Sun will love this. But really, with music from this magnitude, anyone who likes metal should give this	4.5 03.20.10
