2009-07-02 by Liam Whear | 62 Comments

Acccording to multiple sources, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Faith No More's Mike Patton are set to work on a "top secret" project together.

Kerrang quotes Ipecac Records boss Greg Werckman, who runs the label with Patton: "He's trying to convince Mike Patton to go out to the desert but Mike hates the desert."

there might be more to this story...

taken from theprp.com

The rumors of a new project featuring John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters appears to be a reality according to a recent interview conducted with Homme's wife, Brody Dalle. More on that can be found here. It is not yet known if this is the same project that Homme was recently trying to recruit Mike Patton of Faith No More, etc. fame to take part in

Must-ear project. Let´s just hope Homme leads the writting-part, because, honestly, Grohl's originality hasn't been his forte the past years...

If JPJ is on bass, Homme on vox + guitar, and Grohl on drums, this could be epic. Don't really care for Faith No More though....

Then call me a criminal. They're so over-rated its unbelievable. I mean, yes, they're not bad, I'm not dumb enough to say that, but everybody's on Led Zep's dick. Robert Plant's voice should considered rape of the ear, the man's unlistenable.

"I know 14 year olds with better tastes in music than 55 year olds.^ Age doesn't mean a thing when it comes to music taste."

that's absolutely true. where it becomes irratating is when someone has the balls to say they don't like a legendary band like led zep, and then gets crucified for it. "oh noez he questions!1111!!!1!"
