Phil Spector Jailed For 19 Years

Iconic pop producer Phil Spector has been sentenced to 19 years in jail for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
The ongoing court case was finalised last month, when Spector was found guilty of the 2003 murder. The actress was found dead at Spector's home, having been killed by a single gunshot to the head.
It is expected that Spector's lawyers will appeal the decision.

by the way, the sentence was 19-life, actually. 25-life is the common sentence, so this isn't very far off.

19's sort of a joke though when you consider he was given 15 years for the murder. The extra 4 years were for personal use of a firearm. I don't see him living through half of that sentence mind you, but we'll have to see what his defense will try to pull out

I think we can all blame the crazy "street toughs" who pissed on him for all his craziness. I know I would be traumatized if I were both short and unprepared to defend myself.
