Bad Company summer reunion

2009-03-31 by Matt Rounds | 1 Comments
The original three members of Bad Company (bassist Boz Burrell passed away in 2006) are
reuniting for 10-date summer tour. Last summer the band reunited for a one-night show in
Hollywood, Florida, which was recorded and will be released in retail stores on August
8th and at shows during the tour on DVD. The band stated that watching the DVD of their
one-night reunion last year inspired them to do the summer concert.

Lynn Sorenson, the bassist from Rodgers' solo band, will step in for Boz Burrell, while
Howard Leese, the former Heart principal who also works with Rodgers, will play second
guitar.

Members also stated that are going to play a larger variety of songs than last year's
show and that Silver, Blue, and Gold was a one they'd like to perform.
Additional Bad Company shows besides the ten are highly unlikely, with Mick Ralphs
reuniting with Mott the Hoople and Paul Rodgers touring with Queen. Rodgers also said he
wants to focus on new material after the tour.
