The Zeppelin Crashes
2009-01-10 by Aaron | 38 Replies | 5291 Views

Seems that not even the mighty metal juggernaut can avoid the fate of all bands that
reform for completely sincere creative purposes.
Jimmy Page's management recently has reported to BBC staff that "Led Zeppelin are over.
If you didn't see them in 2007 [at London's O2 Arena], you missed them. It's done. I
can't be any clearer than that. Frankly, I wish everybody would stop talking about
it."
So that's how the levee breaks, hmm?

I doubt anyone cares at this point. Page is over the hill, Jones is doing his own work, Plant is better with Allison Krauss at this point, and Bonham is uh, dead.

Its been over since 1980 as far as I'm concerned.

I would argue that we're young enough to see when a band has passed its prime. This Message Edited On 01.11.09

Lead is a metal, Led is not. Name me one metal song by Led Zeppelin.

^^

With a headline like "The Zeppelin Crashes" I'm willing to bet "not even the mighty metal juggernaut " is a reference to the band's name and not genre. Just saying.

well considering we're all about 16-20 I'm pretty sure we'll live longer than three 60 year olds who have probably already fucked their body up from multiple doses of illegal drugs =/

BUT on a serious note, yeah Zeppelin's music is timeless but ummm why would you wanna see a bunch of old guys playing out-dated music?
