I'm excited.
| |
I listened to this band because of the voice of their previous lead singer. Is this incarnation any good?
| |
Kinda blown away this band is still around
| |
Being excited for a Three Days Grace album in 2017 is an oxymoron
| |
how can anyone be excited for this?
“favorite bands
Linkin Park, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace, Bring Me The Horizon, Sum 41, Breaking Benjamin, Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Staind, Godsmack, Skillet, Hatebreed, Chevelle, Crush 40, Pantera, All That Remains”
ohh, that explains it
| |
Nobody cares
| |
oh boy
| |
Oh good more edgy rock for WBTZ to play.
| |
Probably will have two maybe three good singles but will be average/boring otherwise again
| |
throw them in the TRASH
| |
Barf
| |
I got this confused with Third Eye Blind and got more excited than I should've.
| |
My musical taste grew up on them but even then, the last album was an infamy in its dumbness. I have doubts this will be any better.
| |
excited but cautious, very cautious
| |
This going to make one of my best friend's day when I tell him about this, but he probably already knows. His favorite band.
| |
I bet andcas is excited
| |

that 2006 middle school taste

Staind was one of those bands that I felt in love with when I started watching MTV, back when I was 11 years old. I can't believe it.
| |
Their first two albums still have a good chunk of songs on them, but I highly doubt I'll like anything off a new album
| |
the old singer looked like an Elliott smith wannabe
| |
I'm excited only cause I'm optimistic it'll be better than both Human and Transit Of Venus. I'm a bigger fan of these guys than most people on this site, but they do have plenty of good jams.
| |
and Lelle, the band in their newest incarnation is solid but nothing will top this band circa 2006-2009

I
HATE
EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU
| |
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................
| |
Is this one going to be called "Individual Thought Patterns"?
| |
You aren't.
| |
Human was good but it didn't last in terms of relevancy .
| |
Now I'm unironically interested in what part of Human you felt was "good"
| |
i am machine is a cool song but uhhhhhhhhh everything else is terribad about human
i can say identical things about every tdg album lol
| |

Human's fundamental issue begins and ends with Matt Walst; it sounds NOTHING like a Three Days Grace album because of him. It just sounds like a slightly heavier incarnation of My Darkest Days. Even the songwriting seriously took a nosedive.
Walst is an okay vocalist, but he's no Adam Gontier and his style just completely underwhelms the Three Days Grace sound. Gontier had a rawness to him that worked in his favor, Walst just sounds a bit whiny and is better suited to his original My Darkest Days style.

Dude, comparing Three Days Grace to Chevelle is insane. Chevelle has maybe half a dozen radio singles on rock radio after like 8 albums? Beyond that, Chevelle's lyrics ascend far beyond anything Three Days Grace has ever done and I don't think anyone would debate that. Not trying to sound like a fanboy, they aren't my favorite band but they are in pretty much every way a better band then 3DG.
| |
I'm not hating on Chevelle here, but Three Days Grace have had 12 number one singles on the US Mainstream Rock chart since their debut.. for only 5 albums. So if we're comparing radio singles here, that really isn't something Chevelle have the edge on from what you've just said.
