Well this is... different...

Three albums in, this is precisely the kind of music I wanted from Solo Gallagher. Trippy, soulful, kaleidoscopic
|
| |
His debut was really good, so I'm pretty pumped for this one.
|
| |
Looking forward to this, it's gonna blow Liam's out of the water
|
| |
Last album was great. Looking forward to this one.

Liam is proving himself to be the best Gallagher at the min.
|
| |
Liam's voice is in tatters, and he can't write a song to save himself. His musical ambitions haven't moved beyond derivative pub rock in a quarter century.
|
| |
gonna be aoty

Agreed Liam’s songwriting ability is questionable. I doubt he wrote a note or lyric for his new one but he can still belt them out and more importantly he genuinely has the fire.

In my opinion Noel is and always has been the better Gallagher and definitely a better songwriter and musician. He wrote all of the songs on the first two Oasis albums and the first High Flying Birds album which are in my opinion masterpieces, plus he wrote most of the songs on the later Oasis albums. Meanwhile Liam has like 5 or 6 co-writers on his new album. Don't get me wrong though I'm still definitely gonna listen to both albums when they come out.

I’d still prefer a pint with Noel tbh
|
| |
okay i'm fucking hyped for this one, it sounds sooo great, and better than Liam imo
|
| |
ey up, let's av it, spotted dick, tits out for the lads, if you're not a manc you're a wank, england 5 germany 1 etc
|
| |
Know your place TG son.
|
| |
:D
|

Fuckin' choice, just when I thought he may have been running out of ideas. Every snippet in that trailer sounded great.
I do hope he has at least one four-to-the-floor dance track in there like What a Life, In the Heat of the Moment, Ballad of the Mighty I, etc.
|
| |
damn hes really exploring in the studio it seems,
|
| |
Stoked, love both of his releases

Liam's voice is in tatters, and he can't write a song to save himself.
If the last two Oasis albums were any indication, Liam's a perfectly capable songwriter. He's quite good, in fact, but I don't know that he could ever write anything on his own that's on par with Noel's silver-tier songs. It's probably a good thing, then, that he has co-writers on most of the tracks from As You Were. The dude's always sayin' he's more of a singer than a songwriter, anyway.
Although I haven't been floored by any of the pre-release singles off As You Were, it is shaping up to be a very consistent, very enjoyable album overall. Doesn't seem like it's going to have anywhere near as many awesome high-points as a Noel record has, but I'm feelin' like it'll be a nice plateau all the way thru in terms of quality.

Liam was really good live recently. Better than he's been in a long time.
