Solid, as to be expected
Digging: August Burns Red - Phantom Anthem
Okay, trying to change metalcore a bit here! I respect that this is much better than the last single!
August goes djent.
Well, it sounds like abr, that's for sure.
Digging: Tyson Motsenbocker - Almira
Yep great track. Gotta respect the consistency at least.
Digging: Venenum - Trance of Death
AOTY contender for me, song is solid as fuck
Digging: Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas - Feeling of Unity
This was...decent? Band is infamously consistent but this felt quite safe
4 breakdowns per song, you know its abr
Digging: Grails - Chalice Hymnal
"Okay, trying to change metalcore a bit here! I respect that this is much better than the last single!"
How in anyway is this changing metalcore? This is exactly the same material they've been doing since they started as a band and every band in generic metalcore land does this style anyway.
I feel like this is typical ABR just tuned down a few steps lower.
Meh. That was okay, I guess. Not really compelled to replay it tho.
havent remembered anything these guys have written since Constellations
have enjoyed both songs, album's shaping up to be another solid ABR release
Digging: IDYLLS - The Barn
Invisible Enemy was far better imo. This didn't do much for me, too similar to what they've done on the past 2 albums.
Solid as per...
Digging: Counterparts - You're Not You Anymore
Badass song, but, jfc, cool it with the fucking breakdowns. We don't need four in one song lol. Maybe put in a solo or some thrashy riffing? That shit gets so tiresome, Man.
@BurnedBlack606 have you ever heard ABR before? Serious question. Its their thing, and we don't talk about it anymore.
Good stuff
Jeez I went into this expecting to hate it, but those are some cool guitar parts, especially the one that leads into that drum fill in the beginning. Still not anything I'd listen to often though.
Digging: Wolves in the Throne Room - Thrice Woven
@0GuyMan0 Yes, I've been a fan of ABR since Constellations. Their two most recent albums toned down the use of breakdowns, which is why I'm kind of annoyed by the excessive amount in this track.
I hear you. I consider FIFAP their best work. Still dig this, though, as I've been a big fan since Thrill Seeker, and any sort of callback to that is fun for me.
This album just leaked. Holy fuck, it's on a whole new level for this band. Far and away their best album yet. And the rest of the album blows the singles out of the water. (Although The Frost still kicks ass)
Sounds like your typical ABR album. Decent at best.
I like when he do the tappity tap tap on the guitar
new album is actually pretty good as far as metalcore goes. i'm enjoying it
Ew why is the production SO compressed?
Production almost ruins this
Wauw, that's one early leak.
Leaked just in time for more deadlift PRs
it sounds like every other abr song imo, just a bit happier
Digging: Weary Eyes - How To Leave Places
official video for Frost.
Not sure why they had to release the article video when the official vid came out just a few days later. A waste of effort and resources if you ask me.
New record is actually pretty epic
