Stylised as M A N I A with letters drifting away ... just lie their career.
|
| |
I can't listen to it because I'm at work, but I bet it's terrible. And if not terrible, then disappointing.
|
| |
It is, don't be.
|
| |
Well , I like it . Yes , it is more dance than rock but it's the same as the 2 previous albums basically so I'm good with it .
|
| |
Shit
|
| |
"im good with it"
Lol
|
| |
Eh. It's okay.
@0:33 when it kicks in I actually was kinda intrigued but the rest of it is pretty average.

Click bait tiles give me blue balls
|

It's not clickbait titles that give you blue balls, it's ... Ebola
|
| |
i'm sorry, the real fall out boy can't come to the phone right now
why? because they're dead

Song was fine, I'll probably never listen again though. I can't believe how much that hiatus ruined them.
|
| |
Patrick Stump should go solo already. This sounds like a single for Soul Punk 2.
|
| |
If that's the case, I might actually like it... I really liked Soul Punk.
I also really liked the Damned Things.
|
| |
I really liked Soul Punk too, this is really meh. Stump either needs to commit to the pop stuff or go back to FOB's roots. This song is ok but it's musically so boring.
|
| |
Probably the best single out of the batch, it's pretty okay. I still stand by my opinion, though, that Patrick has no business in the pop-music that FOB wants to make and should focus on his solo-career if he wants to continue in this pop-vein, because Soul Punk was a pretty damn solid album.
And yes, this sounds like a very watered down version of something that could have showed up on Soul Punk. That's probably why I kinda like it.
|
| |
This does sound like Stump's solo stuff, and it's alright I guess. 2.5-3/5 maybe?
|
| |
boring as fuck
|
| |
I could not give a shit about a single album these guys have dropped in the 2010's. Plz stop
|
| |
They haven't been as good since they ran out of Wes Eisold lyrics to rip off.
|
| |
did you get enough love
my little dove
why do you cry
|
| |
Looked at that video thumbnail and audibly groaned.
|
| |
It's kind of fun, better than the last two singles, but it's prolly only worth playing a few times before I forget it's existence.
|
| |
Aaahhh it's tired to listen this band nowadays.
|
| |
Say what you want about pre-hiatus Fall Out Boy, at least they had some personality in their music.
Now it seems like this band only exists to make radio songs and commercial jingles.

Digging: Brand New - Science Fiction
|
| |
When the fuck did Brand new get so popular that they are considered radio friendly?
|
| |
Also, don't be a little shit and judge people by what they dig. Asshat
|
| |
popularity has nothing to do with it, friend. their generic sound is what's radio-friendly.
but i think you know what i meant.
|
| |
eesh sry if i hit a nerve there buddy
|
| |
lol
|
| |
Opinions are opinions, mate. If mine bothers you so much that you needed to throw out some stupid ad-hominem, maybe you shouldn't be on the internet.
|
| |
ad-hominem implies that i personally attacked you, which i didn't.
also by that same logic, you need to respect my opinion that brand new's music chortles hairy scrote bag.
|
| |
Can you really not tell the difference between Brand New and Fall Out Boy?
|
| |
can you really not read? when did i say they sound even remotely similar?
i think there's a carbon monoxide leak itt.
|
| |
One has screeching fake-sensitive lyrics with a tonne of soulless blandness in music and the other has a tonne of screeching blandness and soulless fake-sensitive lyrics...
|
| |
Nah he's obviously just trolling, which is fine. Whatever helps him, I guess. I couldn't care tbh.
|
| |
Not a fan, and I was actually fine with the stuff they did before this album
|
| |
Remember when they didn't suck? Yeah, I 'member
|
| |
Does this group (it's not a band anymore let's be real) have any fans anymore?
|
| |
It's generic pop, but it's harmless and catchy, so I don't mind. I personally have liked most everything they've done post hiatus. Folie A Deux is their only good pre breakup album anyway.
|
| |
Whaaaaaaaat.
Well, good sir, we have differing opinions on this band. And I may not agree with your opinion, but I will defend your right to have it. Though Folie A Deux is a pretty good album.
|
| |
I don't know about the catchiness you people are talking about, but the song is definitely much more grounded than the previous singles. On the other hand, it's also extrememly forgettable. For that matter, even Young and Menace was more memorable.
|
| |
i mean young and menace was certainly memorable but for all the wrong reasons
|
| |
i think there's a carbon monoxide leak itt.
It would appear so
|
| |
'Does this group (it's not a band anymore let's be real) have any fans anymore?'
'Course they do. School girls aged 9-13.
|
| |
Science Fiction? Radio friendly? Alright. Less so than every album other than Daisy probably but, alright.
Anyway I've been listening to a lot of FOB lately for some reason, mainly because Stump's voice is actually pretty fucking good. Folie and Infinity etc. have some really good pop-rock songs on them... this is trash, but hey, it's trash that sells.
|
| |
arent Varg and Jesse related?
|
| |
this will be the album that kills their little resurgence, thank god
|
| |
