British extreme metallers Cradle of Filth have offered another preview of their upcoming album Cryprotiana - The Seductiveness of Decay with a lyric video for the track "You Will Know the Lion By His Claw". With the album not due out until September 22 via Nuclear Blast, it gives fans another glimpse of what the album will sound like while they wait for more tracks to become available.

Dani Filth's voice is one you'll love or hate. I think this new lineup is definitely on the right track and becoming more consistent (it helps that they haven't changed members for 3 years), although this album may not be as good as Hammer of the Witches was.

Yeah tbh I've never really listened to them, checked some of their other stuff and it's pretty good. That particular inflection in his screams didn't seem quite as pronounced as it is here, like I know that's his style but it sounded better on other songs

This album is better than Hammer of the Witches imo. It's more dense and way less immediate, but overall the songs are stronger and have more lasting power. Once you get into it, it's addicting. Haven't been able to stop listening to it.
