But for real, I've enjoyed everything these guys have put out (to varying degrees--Yanqui U.X.O. wasn't their best, nor was their latest), so I'm so excited for this.

I'm not sure how I feel about their theme being as on-the-nose, compared to their other stuff. I've always loved the mystery and desolation surrounding GY!BE.

'The band goes on to note that Luciferian Towers was informed by “an end to foreign invasions”; “an end to borders”; “the total dismantling of the prison-industrial complex”; “healthcare, housing, food and water acknowledged as inalienable human right”; and “the expert fuckers who broke this world never get to speak again.”'

this has me so hyped
