yep, that's a generic modern rise against song all right.
what the fuck happened to this band man.
| |
This band may be the most monotonous and unwilling to change of any modern rock band out there. Every three years we just get the same fucking average shit over and over and over.
| |
@PistolPete Dinosaur Jr?
| |
i mean they did consistently change their sound up until appeal to reason
anyway song is meh
| |
Completely average yet again, slightly worse than The Violence but this is the definition of 2.5/5
| |
Great track, much better than The Violence. I like Rise Against, but I do understand why people say that they're unwilling to change. This one got me more excited for the album, even though I'm expecting no more than a 3.5/5.
| |
tim sounds so awful on here wow
| |
this makes me sad
| |
His voice is blown out from all the screaming. He can't reach the notes that he used to.
| |
Album will be 3.5, like the last three for me probably. I like it, but I get why others don't. I just accept that this is who Rise Against is now, and I enjoy them, though obviously not as much as their early days.
| |
song title of this song in the link describes this band currently
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uqQSKfI5hI
| |
staying far far away from this after the last song
| |
I've only heard the album twice, but it's the best since Appeal to Reason. A little more punk a little less alt. rock, overall. Still generic, for sure, though.
| |
the album? did you get like a promo or something?
| |
Man. That was a song i guess.
| |
Hopefully what Willie is saying is that these 2 songs are not indicative of the actual album sound
| |
it's honestly not bad, just completely generic and uninspired. I feel like the album will have some standouts but overall won't be anything too special
| |
Tim sounds fuckin lifeless on this track. The lyrics are actually pretty decent, but Tim's delivery kills this song. The Voilence grew on me, this one won't.
| |
they've sounded awful for 3 albums now so im not really sure where the shock is coming from itt.
| |
This feels like the inferior sequel to Methadone. And I liked Methadone.
| |
this is pretty alright actually
| |
Man, hearing Tim's voice like this is sad. There's not much bite left. Haven't liked these guys for a long time, but their older stuff still kicks ass.
| |
still better than the new linkin park amirite
| |
I like it more than the last one but it's still just decent.
| |
I really like it.
| |
His voice is completely blown out. They need a new lead guitarist as well.
| |
Rise Against? Moar like band I don't give a crap about amirite
| |
Yeah that was rather uninteresting, and I'm usually okay with bands like this releasing "more of the same"
| |
good god this is meh.
I'm actually seeing them and deftones live on the 9th.
it's going to be fun not knowing most of Rise Against's set now
| |
Wolves is a sweet ass song. This...not so much. The Violence was pretty okay too
| |
Sounds like another 3.5 which is really all can be asked from modern rise against
| |
Wolves is easily the best song out of the three
| |
where did you guys find the song Wolves? can't seem to find it anywhere...
| |
Yeah, these songs don't quite make me excited for the new album. It just makes me yearn for new Strike Anywhere and No Trigger stuff, since those bands do this style of Punk/Melodic Hardcore way better, and they aren't nearly as neutered as Rise Against have been for the last few albums.
| |
The Violence was way better than this. Its gonna be 3-3.5.
